  • Re: What are TIPS for Emotional Eating???

Hi Christin! I would LOVE to hear more about what you did. I love when people give me tips and I use most of them. My best friend told me about Nature's Own Double Fiber bread. Well, I've gone thru 3 loaves now. The 1st loaf was "ok", but not great. Once I get "used" to something I end up liking it. So now I don't even

Hi Heather! Thank you SO MUCH! I think you're exactly right about exercise helping with lousy days and also depression! Back when I was walking regularly, it DID seem to elevate my mood! Reading really calms me down, but a bubble bath does, too! I think you're right about addressing the "issue" and figuring out what things trigger

  • Re: 165 pounds to lose!

Hey Melissa! Way to Go!! I'm CERTAIN you can do this!!! I think "starting" is half the battle! Just don't give up, okay?? I think that's the biggest problem with "most" people including myself. We're always going to have weeks where we gain 2 lbs and get discouraged and feel like a failure, that is just part of it

  • Re: What are TIPS for Emotional Eating???

Hi There! I do have a Leslie Sansone "Walk 2 mile" dvd here, so I could do that. But I'll probably still keep chewing gum. I have this "chewing" problem when I'm stressed. I got use to chewing & eating over the past few years. I think you're right about getting off the couch. I will never forget Marie Osmond saying

  • Which Dance-Dance Revolution Game???

Hey! I want to get one of the Dance-Dance Revolution games. We have a Wii system and also Playstation 2. Do y'all like the Dance game for Playstation 2 better or the one for Wii? It sounds like something I would really enjoy, but also get some exercise with! Thanks for your suggestions! Leigh

  • What are TIPS for Emotional Eating???

Hi There! When I'm stressed or bored I have a strong tendancy to eat & eat! What do y'all recommend for that? I'm trying to eat hard candy, chew gum, eat fruits or cereal instead.....walk outside or get my mind on something "other" than food. The gum helps "some", bc I guess I got in a "habit" of eating

  • Re: New Year's Resolution...... NOW!!!

Hey Jillian, Luz, & Shaina! Ok, I messed up this week with my eating. I'll just start OVER tomorrow. Hubby's Bday was Sun, so we've been eating cake, cupcakes, & gingerbread cookies. I fell off the wagon BAD! I wouldn't dare get on a scale within the next 2 days! :) Jillian for the sweet cravings I eat fat-free chocolate pudding

  • Re: HELP!!

Msandbergen, Forgot to say....I only felt hungry the first 2 weeks and then my body adjusted. Now I don't seem to "need" as much food. I get full a LOT quicker than I used to! I did learn that exercise is KEY to this! When I start back exercising I probably "could" lose 2 lbs a week, so I've gotta get motivated in that area

  • Re: HELP!!

Hi Msandbergen! Hang in there...I know "exactly" how you feel. Try not to get frustrated and definitely don't quit! I "almost" quit, but thank goodness I didn't. I've lose another pound since then. I've lost 8 lbs total (in 3 mos), but the past month I haven't been exercising or trying hard. When I start back

Hey Luz! I don't post on here much anymore. Sounds like you've been having a stressful time with papers! Ugh!!! How many days until you see your fiance? You lovebirds are going to have the BEST time together! :) I think this last year will FLY by for you and then you'll be getting married! Aawww! I thought I had gained back some of my weight
