  • Re: Just getting started

Oh my gosh, I have so many family members & good friends reminding me that I'm a good mom but I still feel unacceptable. Just keep realistic - 10 lb goals at a time and you can do it. Also, sign up with sparkpeople.com. there is so much motivation there to help you out. Having a new one at home is so hard and I totally consider what you are

  • Re: need motivation

I started 2 1/2 weeks ago, the scale shows weightloss of 4 lbs. but the capris (2 pairs) I bought 3 weeks ago are too big now - like sagging off my caboose!! Is that motivation or what?

  • Re: HELP!!

Hey, I'm a binge eater too and I know how hard it is to stop!! At my worst point, I would start a package of graham crackers (w/butter) and not be happy until the entire package was done. I'm not binging anymore as of now and I find that the best thing to do is to not have ANYTHING in the house that you could possibly binge on. Almonds are great

  • Re: Any New Moms Losing Baby Weight??

I totally know what you mean about eating the kids' leftovers!! I got into that bad habit after my second was born and that's why this last bit of baby weight just wasn't budging. Now that I've lost these first 5 with slimfast, I'm not picking at my boys' food anymore. I'm ok with throwing it away or bagging it for them to

Hey guys - I'm a choco fiend also!! BUT . . . I have stuck with this and lost 5 lbs already and Thursday will be my 2 week mark. Before you eat something with your shakes try to wait 20 minutes or a half an hour and if you are still hungry, throw down 2 or 3 dry roasted almonds. This has worked great for me. I also make sure I have some low cal

  • Re: On the road to weight loss. . . .here I go again!

Hi! I started almost 2 weeks ago and have lost 5 lbs. I needed to loosed 16 so I know how difficult it is to lose those last few. I have carried mine since I had my baby 18 months ago. The First Six program is really hard but it's really working for me. Good luck to you!! Kim
