  • Power of 10 Challenge (week 2)

    So how did everyone's week go?? Speaking purely on the exercise portion of my life.. it is doing great. I did accomplish my goal so this week I’m doubling some amounts and increasing the jumping rope to 15 min plus increasing the days to 6 days a week. Can't wait to hear how everyone else did and if you didn't start last week, START

    Thursday group had a much better showing than last week, so far by the posts anyway. Twistygirl, WOW….that is an amazing showing… your posts always crack me up no salt, no sugar, no taste.. too funny. Maybe I shouldn’t of moved the ticker so quickly.. but I move it just as quickly when I have a loss. I’ll be weighing myself

    Well, anyone who posts after me shall be doing much better, so Way to go everyone! I on the other hand gained 6 pounds. It hurt so bad to get on the scale today at Publix. But I did it. This behavior will not be repeated! I hated changing my ticker today..

    I'm an emotional eater.. like many on this board. I've been able to deal with many of my emotions in other ways than eating... this week has been OUT OF CONTROL.     FYI: My internet is down at home so I just signed in at work and only have a minute... I'M SO EXCITED WITH HOW MANY OF US OUR GOING TO DO THIS!!! I'm doing great so far and can't wait to see our posts again next Friday. I'm already feeling stronger! My internet should be fixed on Tuesday.. but Comcast sux so who know.. won't stop

    OK, new challenge on the board… Please someone join me in this. Pick an exercise. Doing 10 Jumping jacks, Doing 10 push-ups, walking 10 minutes on treadmill or outside , jogging 10 minutes, doing 10 sit ups, doing 10 lunges.. does not matter! Today is Friday. Commit to 4- 6 days of week of doing that exercise… each Friday add more too

    did u drink your water?? This can not be stated enough. You will notice that "hunger" feeling is not so bad. Sometimes our bodies are just thirsty and the empty feeling sends a message to the brain that we are "hungry".. DRINK< DRINK AND DRINK SOME MORE. At the very least 8 cups a day..
