  • Re: myFitness Pal.com

I haven't done it for quite some time (because you only have to do this once) but on Myfitnesspal.com, sign in and go to "Your ticker" ..... click on "get code for your ticker" ..... the first box is for signatures, highlight and 'copy' it. On your SlimFast profile, go to "edit profile" ..... then choose the

  • !Re: Power of 10 Challenge (week 2)

I love this challege too! We have made a commitment and we are sticking to it. I exercised for six days... gave myself the day off yesterday to let my muscles rest. I'm on vacation next week (going home to western NY) so I will have lots of extra time to exercise. I am taking several workout DVD's, my Jillian Wii, and my hand weights. Also,

  • Re: Thursday Group Weigh-in

Weigh-in days are not easy for a lot of us, so I applaud all of us for posting here... no matter what the scale says. For me, despite exercising daily and sticking to the food plan, I only lost 1.2 pounds. I think my 47 year old metabolism is worn out! Take note of that all of you 'youngsters.' But as we always say, this is a journey... and

Awwwww.... I want to hug you right now. Your post could easily have been written by any one of us at one time or another. I know how heartbreaking it is to have a gain when you feel you have done everything right. We use the scale to validate our success, and when it shows a gain we label ourselves a failure. Your water weight issues may be out of your

I'm just checking in with you Coni.... letting you know that I have kept up the commitment for this challenge. Yesterday I did the minumum, but today I worked EXTRA. I did three sets of my three listed exercises, plus I did several sets of strength training exercises... along with my elliptical for cardio. I feel so good. I plan to take my hand

Oh my goodness, only 7 weeks til New's Years?! I have a goal to be in ONE-derland by then so I need to join you Coni! I just got back from my lunch at work and I spent some of my 30 minutes doing stretches and lunges after I drank my SF, so I'm off to a good start. My daily exercise committment will start with: 10 sit ups, 10 DEEP lunges, and

  • Re: New :)

Hello and Welcome to a great support group! All of us here in the "Over 100 pounds to lose" group have a long way to go, so we understand. I started the SlimFast plan in July and I have set a goal of losing 110 pounds by next October. Is it a long time? Sure, but its a lot of weight to lose. I either commit to doing this for the next year

  • Re: Want to lose weight but can't be motivated

Suzanne, you used a word that has become my one and only reason for being able to stick to this plan long-term..... COMMIT. I recently read a self-help book that talked about this. Basically, no diet will work if you don't commit to it. I remember reading that and really thinking about it for days. I asked myself, what does it mean to commit to
