  • Small victories

Hello all, hope you're all well, God bless. I haven't been posting a whole lot lately but I'm sticking to SF. This morning I got on the scale and I was 253, that means I've lost 28 lbs. so far! WOW, just 2 more lbs. until I hit the 30 lbs. lost mark, then when I get to 247-248 I'll be the "thinnest" I've been in 10

  • OT-Happy Veterans Day

This is off topic but I'm sure there's a few veterans here. I just want to tell you all THANK YOU for your service to our country. The sacrifices you've made are something I can never imagine and will always be grateful for. God bless you always.

  • Re: Doing some research

As I child I was never really overweight but always THOUGHT I was. It wasn't until I really did become obese in my late 20's/early 30's did I look back and realize that I was never actually heavy back then. I do wonder if my current weight issues stem from always feeling too heavy as a child, always comparing myself to other girls, the crazy

  • Re: Surprise for my doctor

Hilary I ALWAYS gained weight after a doctor scolded me, because the first thing I'd do was run out and stuff my face. I'll never forget the worst time, it a few years ago when I was having problems with my knee. The orthopaedist was very nasty and bascially told me "well what do you expect" and offered me no help at all, didn't

  • Re: Thanksgiving is coming and I can already taste it.

I just posted about this too. So far I think the best thing to do is come up with as many healthy foods as possible so we can eat with less guilt. Hopefully we'll have some good suggestions on my post soon.

  • What will you make for Thanksgiving/holidays?

Well we all know what's coming, the very family-oriented and FOOD-dominated holidays. While I always look forward to this season, now I'm getting a bit nervous about my first holidays on the diet. I do want to keep an open mind and I certainly don't expect to starve myself while everyone else chows down, so I'm thinking of coming up

  • Back on track

Even with Halloween temptations, I still managed to lose 2 lbs. this past week. So after my little slip-up I'm back at the 25 lbs. lost mark. What's with people bringing all their leftover candy to my job though? How rude! ;) I hope everyone is well, will try to catch up here really soon!

  • Sighhhhh

Since Sunday I've been doing pretty well on the diet again, today so far was ok. However the last half of my workday was very stressful, then I came home to both my sons giving me a hard time about doing their homework. They keep dawdling and getting distracted when I know they can do the work if they just apply themselves. I started screaming at

  • Re: BMI motivation

Thank you Hilary, this was the encouragement I needed today. I started with a BMI of 44, and it's currently 39. :)

  • Been bad

Hi everyone, I've been MIA for a few weeks. I've been really busy, and the next thing I knew, I let it affect the diet. I've gained back 3 lbs. and I'm very upset with myself. I guess all I can do now is get back on the wagon. I hope you'll all doing well. SisterC thank you for checking on me, that was very sweet of you.
