• Holiday dessert recipes that aren't over the top

Does anyone have any holiday desserts that aren't insanely fattening? I know pumpkin pie isn't too bad, at least compared to pecan pie or cheesecake. I was thinking of making meringue cookies -- that's always a good one because they're very low fat. Anyone else have suggestions? Cookies or pie in particular? I need something to replace

  • Re: Talk about a fresh start

Hi Salden, Yes, I'm on the east coast too. I think they had some trouble with the times on these message boards the first couple of days, but now it seems to have been straightened out.
ellabelle, looks like you are starting about the time I am. I live on the east coast. My time now is 7:21a. salden
I know, isn't that insane? They showed how it's equivalent to something like 11 orders of onion rings. (I may be exaggerating, but it was a lot of onion rings!) I don't eat them a lot either but I used to indulge once in a while at the airport, where there's a kiosk. YOu know, you're sitting around waiting for your flight to board

  • Anyone had success with Wii Fit?

Has anyone tried Wii Fit and had success with it? I have just started using it. It seems fun but it's kind of for short attention spans... nothing is more than 3 minutes. On the other hand, I guess that keeps me from being bored. Has anyone used it regularly for workouts that fee like you're getting a workout?

  • Re: Cravings at Christmas!

Tootsie Pops! One pop is 60 calories, 0 grams fat. They last a good long time (if you don't bite it!) and they realy hit the spot when I need a sugar fix. I have one in the afternoon and it really takes care of the afternoon craving... And because it lasts a while, I don't keep eating them (the way I would other candy or treats). I love the

  • Re: Hi to any NDYW friends!

Hi ArcherygirlD I had trouble posting at first too but it seems to be working now. I'm looking for some old friends too... I noticed that on the profile page (when you click on someone's name) there's an option to invite them to be your buddy. It's kind of like Facebook I guess. Seems like a nice way of doing it. Hope you can find your

  • Re: New Year's Resolutions

That sounds like a good resolution cheers! I find that I am most successful with my resolutions if I keep them reasonable and attainable, and I don't make too many of them. I never make resolutions about numbers of pounds (like "I will lose 30 pounds by June") because they never work and it just becomes depressing. I think it works best

  • Cinnabon - never again

I just saw on the Today show that a Cinnabon cinnamon bun has over 1,000 calories and 56 grams of fat!!! I like them but damn, that's definitely not worth it. i'll never eat one of those again!
