    I haven't posted in a while, but I did weigh in the last couple weeks.  I was down a couple pounds after Christmas, but gained it back over New Years.  I am also finding that not getting email from sf is making it a later priority to get on to check my posts here.  Struggling with water...will drink 20 ounces this morning before coffee...should help jumpstart me again.

    Ok, The worst part about it is that I have definately caved to the christmas treats.  Now why doesn't this happen when I work harder at it?

    Ugh...working waaaay too much.  REally, working way too much and not having the time I need to check in here.  I'm drinking shakes, thinking of all of my sf friends constantly, and not having the same amount of time to plan meals, but making efforts to eat fruit veggies.  Being tired hasn't helped though and eating sugar on top of all my good efforts.  Stepped on the scale and gained 5 pounds in 2 weeks.  YIKES>  How does it come on so quickly!????  I have time to breathe today and will put together a good plan for the day before I leave the house.

  • I'm still here

    I've been working a lot and my computer and this site is so slow that I have time to read the posts, but it takes so long to respond, I just haven't had time.  My weight is the same.  I have lost a little focus but not desire.   Doing great on water except yesterday and my body is so used to being dehydrated that it screams at me when I don't treat it right.  Binged on some candy yesterday and it screamed at me then too.  I guess it's getting used to this new way of being.  Silly me, why don't I just get it????   Focusing on veggies and fruit every day.  I could still eat more, but am making great progress.

  • thanksgiving

    I had a plan for thanksgiving...eat one meal...one plate, no seconds but eat what I wanted...and I did.  Ate dessert soon after dinner...so there was less room in my tummy and had a sliver of several pies.  It was great.  I was stuffed, but stuck with the plan I had in mind.  Also drank water with my meal instead of eggnog or juice or soda.

    Weighed myself again this morning because I really thought I should have lost a little over the weekend and I was down 2 more pounds...darn water.  Anyway...up 2 overall...but down 2 since this weekend.  =)

    Ok, did the weigh in on Monday...so the only problem with this is that I work really early and can't post my progress in the morning, but i will post Monday evenings or Tuesday mornings.  Up down, up, down...257...which looks likes it's up, but really it's back down a little.  Changed my ticker...working really hard on getting in all my fruits and veggies and drinking my agua!

    my weigh in day to Mondays...seems to be a lighter day for me.

    I won't change my ticker...I know it's the water retention with the pms.  It will be down again next week.

    Whether it be the water...more activity or saying no to the candy...I'm happy to have lost 3 pounds.  It looks really good to see my ticker with a 17 pound loss!

    very long induction...very tired...dehydrated...sleep deprivation is an awful thing.  However, I did terrific with food and water at the hospital, but was there 24 hours before I came home.  Slept most the day.  Woke to eat my shakes etc, but water is lacking and my body doesn't like it.  Just drank a glass.  I'm sure I will easily go to bed tonight after substitute teaching for a sick coworker tonight.  It's not the diet that has me down...it's the lack of sleep!  I love my work, but not today.  =)

    going to an induction this morning.  Hard to say if I will be able to log on tonight or not, but will pack my bag with sf and be prepared.  Usually easy to get water while I am being a doula so I will get set up with that too.

    Well, I started with wonderful intentions this morning.  I drank 8 ounces of water, Filled my 20 ounce cup (with a straw) with ice water to take with me to work and bam...forgot to bring it with me.  had trouble the rest of the day keeping up with water, had a bigger appetite than usual...hmmm.  Water is so important!  I see this very clearly.

    Tried to log in yesterday to log my progress.  Did great on water and food.  Still good on no candy too!  I know if I would have started there would have been no stopping.  I am really hoping for some loss this week!

  • Halloween

    Ok, I had more diet ginger ale than water today, but I did not have any candy.  A huge milestone for me and I mostly was just so proud that I kept the promise I made to myself.  Gotta get it out of the house though!
