Thanks for the song ideas!  I need some new downloads so I will check those out over the weekend.  I love love love Beyonce's 'put a ring on it'.  I save that song for last when I'm getting worn out and it gives me renewed energy!

I AGREE music is what normally gets me through my 30min workout! Right now my songs are all off the step up and step up 2 sound tracks! IT has great dance music that gets your heart  pumping! I am new to this website and group i am looking to loose 15-20 pounds and i have such a hard time getting motivated. I am looking to lose at least 10pounds in 3 weeks before my husband comes home from germany! That might not be a realistic goal but i am hopeful.  So any tips on staying motivated and getting me to that gym each day or doing my work out videos would be much appreciated!

I hear you girl. I joke on here about  how " I got the MUSIC in ME " Its some of my best advice. I'm a COUNTRY GIRL though, I have tons of songs.

1 Bop by Dan seals, 2. Redneck Woman by Gretchen Wilson, 3 Honkytonkbadonkadonk  by Trace Adkins, 4  Kerosine by Miranda Lambert 5 She's  country by Jason Aldine.

those are just a few. Basically anything with a good up beat. I LOVE IT.

I don't know about you guys but I love my new-found cardio time as it gives me 30 minutes a day to enjoy my iPod (I stinkin' love music!).  Music is a huge motivator for me.  I thought I'd share my top 5 songs that get me going and I'd love to hear your top 5's to enhance my playlists.

*Note: try to be open-minded.  It's important to note that everyone's music tastes are different and that's a-okay!

1) Lose my Breath by Beyonce ("Can you keep up?" Beyonce constantly asks in this song--great for walking/jogging!)

2) Fergalicious by Fergie (She's mentions "Working out in the gym" and it always gets me going thinking about watching her on the Tyra Banks show--that girl is so fit and they showed her daily work-out routine and there's a reason that girl looks so good!)

3) Scream by Janet and Michael Jackson (an oldie but a goodie--I NEVER get tired of this song!  I can remember when it came out and I was dancing to it with my little neighbor friends who lived behind me and we all took dance classes together)

4) Feedback by Janet Jackson (As soon as it comes on, I turn my iPod all the way up--the beat is just so intense)

5) Calabria 2007 by Enur (it was featured on a cute Target commercial at the beginning of this school year.  It's definitely a fun song.)
