I lost my first 12 pounds, and for the last week Ive been weak with food temptations. I ate chocolate cake on friday night for my partners birthday, and have been struggling the last two days. Give me some motivation... I need to lose this feeling of wanting to eat everything in sight...
Don't get discouraged! Even when we lose the amount of weight we want and are healthy, we're still going to overeat on ocassion--don't worry about it! I ate too much, way too much, for dinner two nights ago, and I felt AWFUL, really guilty. And then I said, Chelsea, come on, you're not perfect, just watch what you eat tomorrow and exercise a little more to make up for it. So, I did; I've eaten really well today and I rode 7 miles on my bike instead of five.
I definitely know what you mean about wanting to eat everything in sight...true, it's helpful when you don't have the stuff around to look at, but sometimes that's just not practical. Just think about what you want in the long term--do you want to eat that (whatever it is), or do you want to feel good about yourself and proud that you turned it down?
I know, it's easier said than done, and you're going to slip up sometime. But that's why we're here for you! lol.
Good luck!
~Chels~
I want to feel proud I turned it down. I will keep that in mind the next time I go through a wanting to eat everything in site attack.
