Hi everybody, I just learned about this site this morn'n. I think its cool, and welcome all support. I just got my slim fast yesterday, and started last night. I weighed in this morn'n at 158. I want to lose about 40 lbs. I have been doing lots of other things already and have lost about 40. I am not going to do the whole SF, thing but I thought the extra protien in SF would help me meet my goals better, I got the High Protien kind. I really don't eat that much, Somedays I don't eat at all ! so I could use the extra PROTIEN !! And hey its CHOCOLATE !! so its a win win situation, I HOPE !! GOOD LUCK TO ALL
I just started on Tuesday Spet. 16 I weighed 141 that morning. I am a busy mom of a 10 month old baby boy. I am a teacher so I work until 4:00pm I pick him up from grandma's come home make dinner while I feed him and spend time with him. Then I eat dinner with my husband and then after we play with the baby about 7:00 pm its bath time and bedtime short after that . I am attending graduate schoool so usually after he goes to bed I start on my school work. So it is very hard to exercise. At times I take him for walks after dinner and on the weekends. I started slim fast to try to get back to my pre baby size and weight. I have 10 lbs. to go and one dress size. So, hopefully I am able to accomplish this goal by the end of the year or sooner if possible!

I think this is a super idea!!!! You have the right idea to see how everyone is doing and having the support of one another!
A thing or 2 about myself.. I am a full time college student, I also work full-time, my life revolves around McDonalds or a bag of chips or something I can eat while driving considering each job and college are 30 minutes away from my home! I always struggled with my wait even in highschool.... I have Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome so for me its a little harder to loose weight and I loose like 7 pounds and I'm doing great and I fall off the band wagon! I currently live out in the country so not much going on an especially in the winter, so I get down and induldge in my favorite past time baking and then making sure I eat all of it in the next week to come! I currently way 160 which (being 5'2 is alot of weight to be carrying around somedays) I also have Fibromyalgia so all the more weight even that 1 extra pound that I carry around makes the pain worse! So I finally decided the other day.. this is it, I don't want to be the chunky girl anymore in the group.. I don't want to be just satisfied with who I am at the moment.. I want to be satisfied with the person I know I can become! I know its going to be hard.... but with support from amazing people like you guys I believe that I can pull through this! I know its going to be hard.. but I started with the food and changing my diet this week! Monday starts the excercise aspect throwing that in there.. have to take small steps!!! HAHA... My goal is to loose 30 pounds by Christmas, when I go see my family I want to walk in the door and have them shocked!!!!
Well I will end this novel... but we all are doing great things to make our lives better and make US feel better... we should be proud of ourselves!!! Something I always say to myself between the school work and working fulltime is "You can do this.. stick to it.... SMILE and take a deep breath... its hard now but its TOTALLY going to be worth it in the end!!!"
Good Luck!
Morgan
hi there I'm new here just want to dropp some love:)
Hi Baby Fat,
Congratulations on losing 40 pounds! That gives us hope. I'm no expert, and I don't know you, however, I'm already concerned that you wrote that some days you don't eat at all. When you don't eat you lose muscle and muscle burns fat. You should eat every day. Protien is essential and you should incorporate it with every meal. Even if they are teen tiny meals. I'm trying to be a good buddy here, if I offended anybody, I'm so very sorry.

Hey everyone. Sorry I took so long to come back, I forgot :(
My weigh in on the 18th went well. I was down another 5 pounds. Starting weight was 205lbs. Now down to 190lbs as of the 18th for a total of 15lbs lost in 18 days. Next weigh in will be on the 28th or 29th. I am going to cheat on my diet for the first time because I am going to a BBQ and I think a deserve a night off, but it is back on the diet Monday morning :)
I am so proud of everyone else. Keep up the great work and I will see you all at the next weigh in :)

Hi Everyone,
I'm so happy to see everyone is doing good with there diets and exercising. I definitely think we have a really good group of people. As for myself I have noticed I have more energy during the day and stay more productive as well. Having a 17 month old keeps you on your toes and I feel like I can keep up with him a lot more and even my hubby has noticed a difference in me as well.
I can't wait to find out how everyone's week went tomorrow on "Weigh In Day".
Remember "You Can Do It"!
Erin
Hi,
Not a happy camper today, I GAINED a pound. (165). Luis, your groups idea sounds amazing, I'm just not sure if you all want a SLACKER in your group. It always comes to this, where I get cranky that everybody around me gets to eat actual food and I get to drink a shake. I didn't do my strength training this week and that's the end of my excuses. Oh no! I don't feel worth it today :(
Hi Ladies & Gentleman,
Today is "Weigh In Day". This week I haven't felt as motivated as I usually do. But I still pushed myself to exercises everyday and try to stay on top of the diet. I have occasionally snacked but I watched how much I ate. Last week I weighed 165 and today I weigh 164. Yay, down 11lbs total!
To Myrna, your doing great. Just stay motivated and positive. We all have our good and bad days. You are WORTH IT and don't for get it. We are all worth it.
Erin,
I just started this plan on Tuesday, the 23rd of this month,(Sept.) I was at 190 and am already at 181. Finally a plan that shows "some" kind of results. I am an air force wife living in Hawaii. Ever since my last child of 4 was born, which was six years ago, I've been getting heavier and not leaner, but I have constantly been "dieting". I really really want to stay motivated and actually see results. When I look in the mirror, I think I look pretty good, but when someone sends me a pic they took of me, I'm horrified!! That mirror can be deceiving!! Anyway, I have never blogged about anything. This is pretty personal, but I am doing this so that I can stay accountable. If anyone wants to join me on this journey, feel free. I'm quite interested to see where I'll be by Christmas. I want to get to 135 pounds, ultimately. Erin, Congrats on the 8 lbs.
You're right; We CAN do it!!! Dawn
Hello everyone!!!!
I'm restarting SF since I regained over 20 lbs during the summer. I'm having a hard time keeping myself motivated but I'm desparate to not hit 200 lbs again. I know you guys started Sept 1st but I'm hoping I can jump in. I was around 175 when our Spring motocross racing season ended and now I'm 196 :( with the start of the Fall season. I can't fit in my riding gear anymore . I'm a 33 y/o mother of 1 toddler.
Start Weight: 196 lbs
Goal:155 lbs
Hi everyone! My girlfriend and i started our hjourney on Monday September 29th and we are doing well. just a little nervous because we love food and we love to cook!
