Thanks Glenbury for that uplifting post.

Hi everyone.  Good news.  I found my coat.  The next morning I went to go get in the car, and realized I didn't take the coat in the night before.  So I threw it in my other car and just forgot I had put it in there.  That's one load off my shoulders.

I was not quite half way through with my route today and it started snowing.  Yes, I said snowing.  Granted, it didn't snow long, but it sure was pretty.  About 45 minutes later it started again, harder than the first.  I was getting soaked.  The wind was blowing it right in my window.  My daughter called me and said it was also snowing in Virginia.  She said a front had been moving through these areas.   I saw on the weather channel that it's cold down in Florida too.

Glenbury, I'm taking you never tried the bar of soap.  I was talking to my brother n law Sunday, and he knows of several people that use soap for RLS.  If you have tried it, I'm sorry it didn't work.  It does wonders for me.

Everyone have a good night.

Glenbury and Carolyn, you two give the best advice! How can we not love you both :-) I think we have THE best program, website and members here at Slim Fast. I have checked out others, like SparkPeople.. and they are good sites in their own right, but I have never seen their members interact like we do here... I agree that things will get better for everyone going thru rough times right now. The sun WILL shine again for them and yes, we have to hug ourselves and treat ourselvs like the best friends that we are to ourselves. I Love it here!!!...PAnn

I'm sorry to dump on everyone again, but....I just went to my banking website and realized someone authorized Verizon to take out $440.00 from my account.  I DON'T EVEN HAVE VERIZON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.  It's caused me to overdraft.  I called the bank and Verizon, but the bank can't do anything until I go in and sign papers after work tomorrow.  Verizon can't do anything until they recieve the papers from the bank.  The guy from the bank did say once this mess was squared away, they would reimburse the overdrafts and also put the $440.00 back into my account.  In the meantime, I authorized my bank to draft two payments out of my account today.

I'm sure my face was priceless when the page opened and I saw the balance.  I thought I was going to have to change my underwear.

And i thought things were starting to look up.

I can relate! This summer my bank called me to ask if I authorized a $33,000.00 transfer!! I have a business and somehow (maybe off of a check I paid someone with) this person (or company) from overseas tried to debit my acct. by having my acct. #. Fortunately I live in a rural area and everybody knows everybody, so my bank caught it. They told me that another person in town had something very similar happen that same week. Our routing and acct. #'s are right on our checks, so anyone can take that off of there and try this...Things will be ok Wanda. It just seems that it all happens at once. Your bank has to work with you. They are insured and that covers things like this. What I did, was give my bank a list of anything that comes out of my acct. automatically each month. They will flag anything unusual that comes through and call me. There is one gal in particular at my bank that watches my acct. pretty closely. I made a change to an amt. that I have automatically taken out each month, but forgot to let the bank know that I made a change and they called me when the item came through for the different amt...II also go online and check my acct. every morning to see any transactions, even the pending transactions..t'll work out Wanda, it all takes time. I know it;s been heartbreaking and frustrating for you, but it'll get easier....PAnn

My money is back in my account.  By the time I got to the bank after work today, I had overdrafts amounting to $350.  The lady at the bank made a phone call and while she was still on the phone, the overdraft fees were refunded.  When I got home, the $438.28 was redeposited.  I thought it was going to take at least 2 or 3 days to get it fixed.

I know God doesn't give us any more than we can handle, and I've learned never to ask again how much more he will give me.  My dad has his stroke the last time I asked that question and now he's gone.

I know things WILL get better.  But, with Christmas just around the corner, it's going to get worse before better.  With everything that's been going on in my family, I really don't care if Christmas comes or not.

I don't know if I told you or not, but my oldest daughter and her husband are being transferred to Maine.  He graduates in January and will be moving sometime after that.  She will be here for Christmas for approx. 2 weeks.  Better start saving my money now.  Already been online to see how much an airline ticket is.  Never been to Maine, really looking forward to it.  I guess I'll have to invest in a webcam, so aleast I can keep up with how much Marissa is growing.

Two things down.  I found my jacket, and now I have my money back.  I'm on a roll.

I understand how you feel about the holidays right now. To heck with the argumentive trouble makers. Focus on your kids and grandkids. They are the most important ones along with your mom, of course. Try to tune the rest out. (Easier said than done, I know).. My first husband died in 1988 and I needed something special for my children, who were 7 and 12 at the time, to do at Christmas. What we did was our own version of the Twelve Days of Christmas. Nothing fancy, just special to us. We started lighting a candle each night thru Christmas night in honor of their dad. As more loved ones left us thru the years, we added a candle for them. We all still do this and also include any company we may have at the house. We have always included a candle lighting for peace and hope.  After all these years I had to cut back on the amt. of candles! Now I have special ones for my 1st husband, my dad and my grandmothers. My daughter's 6 yr. old does this with her mom now at their house...It's something we all look forward to, keeping the tradition going and remembering how it started for us......Maine is very pretty. My (2nd) husband and I vacationed at Bar Harbor a few years back. We took a whale watching tour that was great! The eastern states are pretty. What state do you live in?  I'm sure you'll get there and love it....Glad to hear your bank acct. is straightened out now. One more weight gone....Take care...PAnn

 PAnn,

I live in North Carolina.  I live on the coast about 20 minutes from the beach.  I don't believe i know where you live either.  Wouldn't it be wild if we lived near each other?

It would be, but I live pretty far from the Carolinas. I live up in north central Wisconsin. I've never been to the Carolinas. Maybe some day. We winter in Mesa, AZ.  I have a trucking company, so am able to take my job with me.I have a gal who works here in the office..Alot of my job involves  being online with the customers, whether it's via their websites, emailing or phone work and I dispatch from there also. So, this is a job I can go anywhere with. My husband is semi-retired. He works hard all summer here in WI, so I let him play all winter down there. Sure beats WI. winters, even if I work 10 hrs. a day just as I do here...PAnn

 Hey Carolyn,

I've heard of Charleston, but not James Island.  Do you ever come to the coast of NC at all.  About the only time I take a vacation is when I go to Sarah's competitions.  I can retire in 2015 so I can travel more, until then it's work, work, work.

 Hello to All,

Wanda, my husband has an aunt that lives on Harkers Island, NC.  We have been to Kitty Hawk and Raleigh, also Charlotte & Durham and of course Asheville and surrounds.   We loved it around Flat Rock, too.

Recently we enjoyed several days @ Lake Lure Bed & Breakfast.....very nice.

What kind of work do you do, Wanda?

Hope all is good for you.

 Carolyn,

My sister and husband vacation in Harkers Island every year.  They stay at the same hotel every time.  They take their boat out and fish alot while there.

I work six days a week for the postal service.  I have to use my own car, which is very rough on the brakes, and transmission.  I have to have them changed about every 6 months or so.  My last car had three transmissions installed.  I quit after the third one.  Bought me a Honda Element.  Great for just driving in, but not delivering the mail.  But it was the only thing I could find without a console that I could afford.    Very hard work, but I love what I do.  My customers are very nice to me this time of year.  They give me all kinds of gifts and sometimes money.

This weekend went alot better than last.  Sarah made me leave the house so she could surprise me by cleaning it up.  Great job.

Hope everyone else is doing okay.  Have a great weekend.

Happy Thanksgiving Everyone, and a Belated Birthday Wish to Wanda..   Hope you all have a Great Turkey Day, get your fill and enjoy every mouth full as long as you keep it to one day, feast like there is no tomorrow and then resume healthy eating the following day.   Never deny yourself anything on a Holiday is what I say, otherwise you find yourself craving all sorts of things you wish you had eaten and had forbid yourself to have.   It's one day, no big deal, the deal is the next day and the day after it........!    Here come the Holidays...enjoy em..........Best Wishes to All, Glenbury from Fla
