I have been following the slim-fast diet plan and also working out daily for 30 mins (Combination of treadmill, cycling, elliptical) since Dec1st. But somehow my weight seems to be fluctuating between 155 and 156 only for last one week. Is this normal? What can I do to start loosing weight.

Based on your post, I'm not sure whether you ever lost weight on since December 1st, or if you have only not been losing weight for the last week. Either way, a typical time frame to begin losing weight after starting the Slim Fast Plan or any diet plan is about 1-2 weeks. This is especially true if you have a history of dieting. The average weight loss on the Slim-Fast Plan is 1 to 2 pounds a week, the amount recommended by leading health authorities as safe and sustainable. Losing more than 2 pounds a week can be associated with health problems and is also more difficult to maintain over the long term. During the course of following a weight loss plan, it is also possible, however, to not lose any weight some weeks. Health professionals view this as a normal part of the weight loss journey.
Make sure you are following the correct plan that is appropriate for your current weight. This would include replacing breakfast with a Slim-Fast Shake or Meal Bar, combining a Slim-Fast Shake or Meal Bar with 200 calories at lunch (i.e. half a turkey sandwich), and dining on a Sensible Meal (approximately 500 calories) at dinner. In addition, you will have 4 fruits or vegetables and 1 Snack (approximately 120 calories) to eat between meals.
