Hi urdream05,
Symptoms such as low energy levels, dizziness or headaches may be a sign that you are not consuming enough calories. Your Slim-Fast plan is personalized at a calorie level that will not only meet your nutritional needs but also help you achieve a healthy weight loss of 1-2 pounds/week. Losing weight more quickly may indicate taht you are not eating enough, which may result in low energy levels, dizziness, and/or headaches.
It is important that you eat your meals and snacks according to your personalized plan, including snacks. Eating calorie-controlled, nutritious snacks between meals can help to satisfy hunger and prevent overeating later in the day so you can stick with your plan. Remember to drink at aleast eight- 8 oz glasses of water or non-caloric beverages each day to stay well hydrated and meet your fluid needs. Additionally, the Slim-Fast plan takes into account 30-60 minutes of moderate physical activity. If you are doing more exercise than that, you may need to increase the amount of calories you consume. If you need to adjust beyond the 30-60 minutes included in the plan, we encourage you to add 1 snack for each additional 100 calories you burn or add 1 additional Meal Combination for each additional 200 calories you burn.
If you continue to experience headaches, dizziness or low energy levels, check with your healthcare provider so he/she can help with a more closely supervised approach to weight loss and suggestions to address your specific nutritional needs.
