22 and ready to lose!!

Today's day 3 and I weighed myself even though I wanted to wait a week haha.. but i've lost 2 pounds!! It only makes me want to keep going with it even more so I can see the numbers keep going down.

 

It must have been nice having a dad that could cook things like that! I'd be in the same position you're in :-P Congrats on getting married soon!!

 Hi Noel! And everyone else :)

I'm Amanda. I live with my boyfriend and I have been doing Slim fast for 5 weeks as of today. Since there has been no pop in the house and I have been trying to cook healthy (I'm in college and also have a part time job and the end of the semester kind of sucks as far as time goes) my boyfriend stepped on a scale and had lost TEN POUNDS!!! lol and he only weighed 168 to begin with. I was appalled and sort of disgusted. We get fast food a lot of nights lately since as I said it's the end of the semester, but when we go he always gets a huge hamburger with large fries and a coke, while I get a grilled chicken sandwich with whatever healthy side options they have and a diet coke. I always make sure I am only eating 500 calories for dinner, whatever I get. I just couldn't believe he had lost that much when he's not even really eating healthy. Anyway, I have lost 14 pounds in 5 weeks so I am really really happy about that. It really helps to see that on the scale, it keeps me motivated. I started out at 185 and am at 171 today. I weigh in every Thursday. My goal is to get down to 125 (I'm very short-5'2).

Anyway, if you guys want to start doing a weekly weigh in with me you're more than welcome! And  if anyone needs support just give me a holler.

My name is Evan. I too am 5'2 and have a goal weight of between 125-130, im currently at 184. I have only been doing slim fast a little over a week. I would love to have a weekly weigh in, thursdays would be great!

I'll join you on the weekly weigh in!! It's so hard to not weigh myself during the week, but I need to only make it weekly. Doing a weekly weigh-in will give me something to work towards.. watching the number drop (hopefully) every week!!
