my son trun a year the beginning of october. everyone kept saying it takes time you'll lose the weight...but it hasnt happen. i have no motivation to get up nad do things and im home all day..so i eat. i live in florida nad hate the heat. so i hate to go outside and walk when it is hot. im just a negative thinker nad i want help. and words?
I know exactly how you feel. my daughter is 19 months and i said I should have lost the weight by now. Here's what I did and hope it helps you.
I use the Slimfast optima powder(they come in milk chocolate, strawberry, and vanillia) I scoop of any flavor into 2% of milk and add ice into a blender and makes a smoothie. The ice make it thick and keeps you fuller too. (the direction is also on the can too) I do a smoothie in the morning and for dinner. For lunch, I eat a regular non-diet meal, in-between, i eat cantalopes, or any other fruits, or a slimfast bars. Those are my meal plans.
Here is my excerise plan, and i feel exactly the same as you, I hate going out in hot weather. so in my air condition home, while my daughter takes a nap, I do zumba for 30 minutes to an hour everday. (if you haven't heard of it, it a latin dance/aerobic exercise dvd - it can teach you to do latin dance and lose weight at the same time.) plus it's a fun work out. I use headphones to listen to music while doing zumba on mute while my daughter is a sleep so I don't disturb her. you can check out zumba on youtube.com or go to www.zumba.com

Me too!! my son is only ten months but i haven't lost a single pound since he was born .. I have 23 to lose we should all weigh in once a week ( like on friday) what do you think? there's only three of us so it'll be easier to check on eachother
I'll join you all. My 5th(!) baby is almost 6 mo. and I'm still 40 lbs away from my comfortable weight. I was able to exercise for 30 min today while my lo took a nap. My first hurdle is making time for workouts. I've used slimfast before and like that it's easy to just have a shake and not worry about portions, calories, prep., etc. My skinny family needs cheese, whole milk and ice cream or they'd fall over. I cook alot of high calorie meals to keep them from starving to death. I don't like to (or have time to) make 2 dinners, so the shakes are a godsend.
I am a semi-new mom. My son is 13 months old and I still have a dragging 10 pounds to lose that just won't go away! I went to the store tonight and told myself that I had enough and grabbed the Slim Fast Optima shakes, meal relplacement bars and Smart Ones lunches. I am determined to get rid of those pounds!
