OK. I need to get in the right mindset. I always say it - and don't do. I realized today how far I have gone. I seem to linger around the same weight - so ain't so bad, right? Yeah. Well. I have eaten 2 Hershey bars today. Yes 2. Plus a couple of those mini reese thingies. That's my biggest downfall - chocolate and candy! Tomorrow is a brand new day. And I am sure after all that sugar, my tummy will be doing loops tonight to let me know it went too far.
I need to go write my goals and find a place to remind myself why I need to do this.
i completely know how you feel about the chocolate!! But you are right, tomorrow is a brand new day! I just started the slimfast plan this week and it is not easy for me. I went from endless snacking on chocolate and coffee to trying to stick to the shakes and no chocolate! My problem right now is that i cant seem to just stick to the shake alone for breakfast and lunch. I have to have something with it or im starving to death in 30 minutes. So i try to eat a piece of wheat toast or something healthy with it. And i am trying very hard to brain wash myself into believeing that i dont like chocolate...lol! Hope it works! I will be glad when i get to the point where i am not wanting to eat the house down all day long...lol. Hang in there and dont give up...thats my motto! :) Misty
Hey guys - I'm a choco fiend also!! BUT . . . I have stuck with this and lost 5 lbs already and Thursday will be my 2 week mark. Before you eat something with your shakes try to wait 20 minutes or a half an hour and if you are still hungry, throw down 2 or 3 dry roasted almonds. This has worked great for me. I also make sure I have some low cal pretzels on hand and will try to suck on one of those before I actually eat it. That's so funny that your tummy will be doing loops over a couple hershey bars and some mini reeses. Before starting this, I could eat twice that and feel just fine :0) Regretful, but fine.

you r going to be just fine, you're just getting some things out of your system. This is my third day on the plan and i have lost 1lb but i'm happy cuz that just motivated me to go further with it. Don't beat yourself up i'm just like you, i'm a sucker for cake and cookies! At my job they put out samples and when i see em i can't say no but i'm getting better. Today i only had a cookie. I wish you all the luck in controlling your cravings, you are doing a great job!!!!!!!!!!!!
