I am just like you.... I am a full time college student anc cannot live without my coffee with lots of creamer...... I plan my meals first thing in the morning, so I can still have my coffee with lots of creamer, and still be under the mark for my caloric intake.... So, I drink my coffee and measure my creamer according to what else I plan for the day.... hope this helps,

What I've found that I really like are french vanilla cappacino coolers.  They don't sell them in the store anymore, but I buy them on amazon.com.  You just mix with milk on ice and its 60 calories in addition to the milk.  I'm super picky and this is a pretty good substitute for the iced vanilla lattes I used to get from Starbucks.  http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_ss_gro?url=search-alias%3Dgrocery&field-keywords=cappucino+cooler&x=12&y=16

I have been a coffee drinker all my life, mostly decaf now, I love chocolate flavor and the Slim Fast Optima Milk Chocolate Shake Mix.  I mix 1/4 to 1/2 a scoop of the shake mix in my cup of black coffee and it satisfies my craving for chocolate, yet is low in calories.

Hi kvazquez2006,

You can enjoy coffee -- regular, decaffeinated or espresso -- while following the Slim-Fast Optima Diet. Drink it black or with low-calorie sweeteners and/or fat-free milk or creamer. You can also have brewed flavored coffees, like vanilla and hazelnut, but avoid those flavored with added sugary syrups, half-and-half, or whipped cream. We recommend that you drink a minimum of 8-8 oz. glasses of water or calorie-free beverages daily, so in addition to coffee, you can enjoy unsweetened ice tea and diet beverages.

Keep in mind:

Regular Creamer, 1 Tbsp. has 20 calories

Regular Sugar, 1 level tsp. is 15 calories

Last summer, I started the slim-fast plan, and to my excitement lost 22 lbs. Then came winter, and I fell off. Gained it all back. When I started the plan, I would drink coffee in the morning with 2 packets of splenda, a tablespoon of hazelnut creamer and a tbsp. of milk. Then for lunch, I would drink a slimfast optima drink then I would eat a normal dinner. I excerised for 30 minutes 6 times a week. Its hard to cut out coffee so I just added excerise to my program and still managed to lose the weight. I started again and am hoping and praying that come this winter I will still be able to do it. I have eating problems. Eating is a favorite past time of mine. So instead now, I go walking or playing with my 2 kids.  Good Luck!!!!

Hi!  I was exactly like you and loved my flavored creamers.  I tried mixing the cappacino delight flavor with coffee, it makes a great iced coffee drink!  Chocolate works, too.

I have a real problem with Coffee drinking. I love to drink coffee with an enormous amount of creamer. I think the creamer I had in my coffee this morning was something like 300 calories. Crazy isn't? I am so addicted. Today I cut back to just the one cup but still, 300 calories.

Yikes................

Does anyone have tips on how to stop drinking coffee?
