  • How about a youtube for this topic? :D Anyway... C1D9? Wow. I suck at counting. Either way.. So far so good. Weighing in at 208 today on account of my period adding on that dang water weight. Yesterday I weighed 205 but still being true to every rule of the diet! The weight gain of three pounds is scary and my waist feels sore and tight.. augh.. Oh well. It'll pass in a few more days. My goal is 30lbs off and I'm almost half way there! and I've only been on for about 9 days. That's insane! I've just been doing house work. My husbands in the Army so he's been keeping tight on making sure I keep true to it as well. Monday I start going to the gym again. My goal weight for the Holidays is 180. But for next Summer is 158. We can all do this! LET'S DO THIS! :-D 3-2-1!

  • Sroe260 I see this is old but I hope we can get it going again because I so need this challenge, I'm sorry that your having medical problems I hope it gets resolved or at least stabilized. Congrats on losing 50 lbs we can do this and reach goal, I'm willing to try I lost weight with WW and Slimfast as well.  Lets see if others join us lets kee checking in, note to slim fast you need to make this site more user friendly, I know it's better than what it used to be but it took a lot to get to the most current page a bit irritatitng.

    Hello! I saw your posting and am energized.  I realize now that this challenge is old but I am still going to take it.  Today I was diagnosed with pseudotumor cerebri which is a condition in which the body makes to much spinal fluid thus causing headaches and vision problems.  My case is very mild and is actually a relaspe.  I had the same condition in 2005 but between medication and loosing 50 lbs. on WW the problem resolved.  Anyway, I have additional motivation to stay true to the plan and loose the weight.  I am trying Slim Fast because I have 2 kids (3 and 1) and cannot attend meeting, measure everything I eat, etc.  I hope this works.

  • C1D11 Hmm. Not seeing the results I have had in previous years, so I will be going down to only slim fast for breakfast and lunch and a normal dinner.

  • Well, I made it to C1D6, which was super bowl sunday for me and I messed up at the party. I drank to much fruit punch! So today is C1D1 for me again. I'm upset at my self because I made it through my husbands birthday with the cake and ice cream, and I even bought diet soda's for super bowl sunday but this party was a last second invite and I didn't bring them. Oh well, I'll try harder this time.

  • hey adgeralds. sorry about pestering you with so many questions, but did you do the water/sea salt solution in the mornings as well??

  • I did the SlimQuick Cleanse pills.  It is a 7 day program you take twice a day.  I really think it worked well.  YOu will know you are on it and you will have some discomfort, but I was okay. I also make sure not to drink less than 80 oz of water a day.  That seemed to help a lot. 

  • Yea, I have made it to cycle 2-even after the superbowl.  I am at C2D4.  This has been the best thing for me.  I love challenges and when ever I cheated in the past, I would go all out-why not I had already blown it!!  Now I realize that is not true.  I have been doing great with this.  People laugh at me, because I have baby carrots and grapes with me in my purse when ever I leave the house.  IF I get the munchies, I am all set!! 

    Superbowl-I ate 2 chicken wings with a sm amt of ranch dressing, triscuits with low fat cheese, and about 4 pumpernicle pretzels.  I also had a few multigrain tortia chips.  I drank water, no alcohol or diet soda.  I feel great today, not guilty for over doing it.

    You are right, once you get the habit going, it is much easier.

  • I just finished the Slimquick one and I would recommend it.  It is a total of 7 days, 14 servings and it wasn't too harsh.  I was able to do it and I think it helped me b/c I have never been regular and I am positive it was good for me.  Although, you want to stay close to home during it, I did have some abdominal pain, nothing I couldn't handle.  I lost nearly 4 pounds on it and feel better.
