&lt;p&gt;10 hours a week of exercise - good for you!!! You are definately losing - you may just not see it on the scale.&amp;nbsp; I know, I have the same problem and it is discouraging not seeing that number change - funny isn&amp;#39;t it that we are ruled by the numbers. You should break out that tape measurer and keep it handy.&amp;nbsp; Even better, someone before suggested trying on a tight clothing item weekly - and notice how your body is changing.&amp;nbsp; Chances are you will fit into it soon! &lt;p&gt;Most of the time I&amp;#39;m motivated with my exercise.&amp;nbsp; But like I told my husband last night, &amp;quot;the more I exercise, the more I&amp;#39;m hungry.&amp;quot;&amp;nbsp; (I exercise about 2 hours a day, 5 days a week.&amp;nbsp; It makes me feel good (no pain in my muscles) but at night my eating is out of control.&amp;nbsp; What a catch 22.&amp;nbsp; Today is weigh in.&amp;nbsp; I&amp;#39;m up 3 pounds! LOL!&amp;nbsp; I&amp;#39;ve started over a gazillion times and I&amp;#39;m frustrated.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;My weight loss is slower than most because:&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;1) I have&amp;nbsp;a thyroid problem - The thyroid controls your weight hormones. &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;2) I lift weights&amp;nbsp;three days a week - The more muscle the better - means less fat.&amp;nbsp; (But muscles weighs more than fat:(&amp;nbsp; (..Lol)&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&amp;nbsp;Problem:&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;How do I face my weekly weigh in?&amp;nbsp; I know numbers shouldn&amp;#39;t matter, but they do when you come right down to it.&amp;nbsp; Then I begin to feel helpless and out of control.&amp;nbsp; I need something to help me keep going even when the going gets tough.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I would appreciate any input you could give.&lt;/p&gt;

I too have motivational problems. While I have started my weight lose program about 2 weeks ago. I find myself being motivated for 2 days and then it goes away. I have been using the slimfast shakes for my sweet tooth that seems to attack me at night. Low and behold to my surprise I have lost 6 lbs. But I do not feel it in my clothes. I have great exercise DVD&amp;#39;s it is just getting myself to push play! I just want to wake up with my old body from a year ago. I keep thinking is this a nightmare???&lt;/p&gt;
