  • Thanks all.  So far, I have lost 2lbs since i've started back on track.

How do i add the tracker to my blogs?

  • I know what you mean about falling off the wagon, I fell off in a big way the past two days. whats funny is I've only had one meal the entire two days.

see, there was a birthday celebration at one of those japanese steak houses where they cook the food right at your table. Its basically a 7 course meal and between me and my boyfriend there were 4 to-go boxes full of stir-fried deliciousness and sushi. so I've been eating the leftovers ever since. (although part of me is just glad I didn't eat it all at once)

I gained back a full pound and a half in just these 2 days because of that, that after 2 hours of exercise too.

it may not seem like a lot but its kind of a smack in the face that tells me that I can never, EVER, eat like a normal person does and not gain weight.

I feel like I'm doomed to be either permanently hungry or permanently chubby.

but I'm going to jump right back on that wagon and I hope you do too.

  • You came to the right place, everyone here are so encouraging!

I know you can lose the weight and keep it off this time.

It helps me to have that free weight loss ticker at the bottom of my posts, because I know I have to weigh in and post it for everyone to see! That keeps me really moving along, I look forward to hearing about your weight loss success!

  • The good thing is you are trying and have succeeded. You will gain some weight and lose some, it's normal. Another good thing is you are at least catching the facts that you are gaining weight. You havn't gained all your weight back if ur at 176 with is about a size 10 or 11. You can do it just stay focused. You WILL SUCCEED! Yay YOU!

  • Last June I was 220lbs and got down to 156lbs as of May 17th.  Today I am 173lbs.  Its seems when I get close to my goal, something (me) gets in my way and I have a hard time sticking with it.

I know a lot of it is mental since it has happened in the past.  I went from 202 - 137 in about 1 year.  As you see from the numbers above, I gained it all back and then some.  This time (today) I am going to try this with group support instead of on my own.

I hope this will be the winning decision in my never ending battle of the bulge.
