im buying them here at california 10//10.00 1 dollar each meal bar, i thnk that is not bad...a box has like 6 i think..for 6 something..

Gee, Thank you so very much for this information I NEVER IN A MILLION YEARS WOULD HAVE THOUGHT OF THIS SIMPLE APPRORA;;KKKHCH TO SAVING MONEY AND FEELING GOOD ABOUT YOUR SELF AT THE SAME TIME  BUT MY MAIN PROBLEM TO TELL YOU THE TRUTH TI STAYING SANE..... I CAN'T STOP THINKING ABOUT FOOD....I am thinking peanutbutter sandwichs for snacks can't be too bad......I am driving myself insane....Do I need a doctor or will this just go away....I think I am starving is this normal? all I can think of is food.  Everyboby else wakes happy and so up and motivated and I don't want to bring them down,BUT I'M JUST NOT BEING AS SUCESSFUL AS THEY SEEM TOBE.......tHEY SEEM TO BE HUMMING EVERY DAY!!!!!AND I FEELING LIKE I'M GROWLING

I will have to try thse websites.  I get a few online coupons from different websites.  But I am def going to sign up for the lean cuisine and such.  Coupons will help me want to lose weight without losing my mind on how much money I am spending on healthy products!  Why is "bad food" soooo much cheaper?  :)

Aside from magazines and the Sunday paper inserts, you can get coupons online and print them off. I registered at the websites for Healthy Choice, Lean Cuisine, and Smart Ones. They will email you coupons from time to time. Also when you register for Smart Ones, go to www.eatyourbest.com and there is a tab for "Online Coupon". Click this and you will get a coupon for $1.00 off 5 Smart Ones products. You can also get a ton of coupons for all sorts of groceries at www.coupons.com and www.smartsource.com . Also, always check the boxes/packages of the products you use for coupons. Sometimes they are hidden inside the box or attached directly to the product.  Any other ideas out there, please let me know! 

Ty for the tip!  I too search for coupons all the time!  But I find it harder to find ones for "healthy eating".  Maybe I need to look harder. 

I wasn't sure in which forum I should write this post, but I chose this one because saving a few bucks can be a huge motivator.  I just purchased 4 boxes of meal bars and 2 boxes of snack bars for a grand total of $20.85 (which would have normally cost $35.94)! I go through the many sale papers that show up in my mailbox/on my doorstep each week and search for deals on Slim Fast. Also, be sure you have printed off the coupons from this site, they will save you $8.00 and I understand that after several weeks your will receive more via email. For the last two weeks Rite Aid Pharmacy has offered all Slim Fast products for buy-one-get-on-half-off. I stocked up for two weeks now and used the website coupons. Additionally, look inside the meal bar boxes for the $1.00 of coupons on the top flaps.

While looking through all these sale papers, I also note sales on Healthy Choice, Lean Cuisine, and Smart Ones frozen dinners and stock up on these as well. As far as I'm concerned, one is as good as the other tastewise and they're all diet friendly and fast to prepare.  I buy whatever is on sale and ONLY the ones that are on sale. I figure all the money I save on food can be better spent on buying some new, smaller sized, clothes, right?!
