  • I hope that you are feeling better. I too am grateful for all of the effort you put into this thread.
I did okay at the funeral-I ate two sugar cookies that I shouldn't have but I did really well at eating lots of veggies and only a few potato chips. My visitor came in the middle of the week also and I usually crave chocolate and sweets terribly so in truth two cookies all day/week is not too bad for me.
I'm still planning on posting my next challenge tomorrow.

Be the change you want to see in the world!
  • I did it!!  3+ workouts last week and my kids gave me a nice massage.  Some even walked on my back.  I noticed they are getting bigger.

Thank you for doing this challenge.

My next mini-challenge may be a bit loftier.  Losing 5 lbs. I get a new pair of Jeans.

I have 2 challenges.  If I finish my first cycle of my 21 day Binge Free Challenge...I get a DVD of my choosing.

  • A,Glad  to hear you  are doing better!I am proud of you for not giving up!I am doing my challenge  @ least 5 fruits and veggies still , going for  afew more days. Between that and drinking pretty much nothing else  but water , and low fat milk since 12/31 , I feel better and more energetic than I have in years! I  have found my formula for weight loss!I am  going to  sart wearing my pedometer again starting tomorrow, to make sure I'm getting enough  walking in , and see if I  need to step it up a notch or two... bad pun, I know ! Still appropriate though!I let you know my exact challenge starting Monday.Take care, and keeping taking good care of yourselves!

  • Thanks for your words of  encouragement K. !The support here is amazing!I hope you enjoy your movie, it's well deserved!T.

  • Thank you. There is definitely power in numbers and we number many. I have decided that my chick flick night will be monday. That way I avoid the weekend crowds. Thanks for the support. Stay on track and remember not to put too much faith in the weigh-ins because as you lose fat and workout your body will build muscle and it weighs about 20% more than fat, so you may still be losing, but also gaining muscle so the scale will not change and may even go up sometimes. Hope this helps, even when we can't see muscles they are there.  Have a great weekend. K.

  • Way to go Lamb07!!  I am so proud of you and of us.  I have been doing this since 12/27 and have literally come to a plateau on the scale.  I had a bad week, but I weighed myself this morning and I lost .5 lb this week, so I have broken the curse and almost gave up on myself.  My buddies and all of you have been great.  I also talked to SF support and found out I was under eating a little bit.  I am back on track and I so proud of everyone!!!  I am back in my habits again.

  • Yeah me lost my first 10, have been drinking 64 oz of water or more daily since the 19th. Met my weight this Saturday. And have been snacking very healthy. I am having so much fun and enjoying the extra energy. I have been averaging 10000 steps per day, so I add a 2 mile walk every night to get my numbers higher.

My next challenge is to lose the next 15 pounds and tone up by working out 5 days per week. Thanks for the motivation ladies. We are going to look so great. My clothes are fitting looser, yes the tight jeans, WOW !!!!!!!!! I love it..... K.

  • You are doing great keeping up with  everyone's challenge,.and  I think it's great that you walked even though you don't feel good.!Kudos to you for that!Sometimes it does seem you've undone all the good you've done by having  some bad days,But all's not  lost. We are here for you no matter what.  Don't be too hard on yourself, hon, you had a  bad week , things WILL get better!Hope you feel better soon!

  • Hang in there. I sent you some ideas hopefully they will help. You are doing a great job keeping up with everyone's rewards and the list of all of us involved. I am so grateful for the challenge and for you. Believe it or not you have been right there, especially when I needed encouragement. So don't worry you WILL get back on track and things WILL get better. Thanks for all your help and motivation

  • Wow! This is amazing.  I can see we all have rewards, big or small.  This gives me ideas for small, more attainable goals and rewards to strive for.  (even though I am dying to go shopping- I sort of am a shop-a-holic, and haven't been able to shop since the wailing economy these past months- so I'm really excited to do it with a new body!)

Thanks all for the motivation! Let's keep it up!
