I am back from about a year and a half of absence and need to keep my focus on this support system and provide support for others.  I am very happy to get buddies that are in the same boat I am in.  My husband found an old picture of me in a bikini before college, marriage, kids.  I was a size 1 and was smokin' HOT.  That really helps me remember what it felt like to be thin again.  I now know I was too thin and just want to be healthy.  We now have so much pressure to be thin/skinny and not healthy.  We need to remember that a little bit of meat on our bones is a good thing.  My girls are 5 and 6 are telling me they don't want to get fat and need to be on a diet.  IT affects us so much earlier now. 

I  am  Tami, and would love to have some buddies to help me along.It does seem like it it too easy to find weight that has left us,and sometimes what others have too!

Hey everyone! I really need more buddies too! I just rejoined here after a very long hiatus. I do fairly well with me weight on my own but REALLY miss having people to talk to, discuss tips, give/get motivation, and just generally BS with people who are "into" the same thing i am (meaning out eating/exercise lifestyle!)

OK, I need to reduce my weight as well. I would love to join the buddies to help me stay on track. I used Slim Fast years ago and it helped me to maintain my weight. I also plan to work out at the gym at least 3 times a week for one hour. I'll let you know how well that goes. I hope I won't be too tired after work each day to go...that usually kills my motivation. Anyone have any ideas to help me get a burst of energy each day at 4 p.m....that's my hardest part of the day!

Hi Sarah! You get way more servings in the can of powder than you do in the 6 pack. A can will last me about a week at 2 shakes a day. It's not that more in price. A 6 pack will last what..2 maybe 3 days depending how many you drink in a day. The 6 pack is good if you are always on the go and its easier to just grab a can out of the fridge. But if you are on the go all the time u can get an insulated cup w/a lid and mix it up real quick. Now that the powder is spoon stirable and you dont have to use a blender anymore its alot easier.

I do not know about the power shake. I have not tried it.  I've had the bars and the shakes. I was informed by a pro with the slim-fast products to eat the bars or drink the shake with a piece of fruit to full you up as well as drink some water.  It do work!!
