  • I am currently taking classes to take my mind of my weight loss. I also love to walk with my dog. I am going to work a little water into my system day by day, Thanks for all te great tips.

  • Did you figure out what you are doing to do to take your mind off the weight loss.

    Make sure you have some protein snacks around so that you can nibble.

    If you don't make them handy you will eat high calorie stuff.  And you have to

    take it with you in the car.  That is where I drink too much soft drinks or coffee.

    And coffee and tea have caffeine that stimulate the pancreas and create more

    insulin for us to store into fat stores if we don't use it up. Drink your water.

    If we change the ph balance in our system we store too much fluid.  Our cells

    are like storage tanks.  They don't know how to let go unless we move.

    That means getting more oxygen in our system.  I love my sprite and coffee

    more than eating so I retain alot of fluid.  That is why water is so important.

    The body recognizes it as good.  Try it!

  • When I was with another weight lose program years ago they suggested to go to the sink

    and drink as much water twice a day.  Drink water like it's an appointment.

  • Take your mind off loosing weight.  Find something in your life that brings you just a tad bit of pleasure during your day.  Mine is kicking up my legs  on the couch with a cup of my fresh coffee. I do math problems to relieve my mind.  I know kinda corny! Iit takes my mind off the world.  Are you involved in an activity that brings you satisfaction? Use the Slim-Fast tool to keep up with your plan.  I was with a weight trainer years ago and the thing that I learned from the professional weight trainers is that they have to measure their plan.  It doesn't matter how small or how big.  It has to be measured.  I only do 2 sets of 20 for my little strength training that I do and the tread mill twenty minutes.  Nothing too much but I log it. (measure it)  It's not about loosing weight, it's about planning and sticking to it.  Say you aren't feeling motivated.  Drink your water.  We under estimate the role dehyration plays with our body.  Have a pleasant rest tonight.

  • I know that this will be a dday by day challenge, but I am will to do it. My hubby is currently on a military deployment fighting for our country to be safe. I feel like I should at least be healthy and in shape for him. He fights to live for me everyday he's away. I'm in this for life, but I need support to keep me here.
