I also have 50 pounds to lose by Aug 1st. I am a little older than you which makes it harder but maybe we can encourage each other...I remember being in a wedding for my best friend and I was pregnant and didn't know it at the time. I was HUGE!!! I just thought I was getting fat! Oh I was so uncomfortable at the wedding. They also had a color of dress that just wasn't for me.... I never looked so bad! So you can do this and so can I....

I have very nearly the same goal as you, and we're close in age. I'm 26 and would like to lose about 50 (if not more) pounds by mid-August when I leave for a semester of studying abroad in England.

Seeing as how our goals and time frame and age are so close, would you like to be buddies?

I could really use some buddy support to stick with it and keep my head in the game and eye on the prize! :)

Happy Belated Birthday!!!!   I am so with you needing to lose weight!  My daughter is getting married and asked me to give her away.  I didn't really know mom's gave their daughter's away, but I am honored to do so.  I need to "give away about 55 pounds of assets"  (Ha! Ha!) before the wedding so I will feel comfortable walking down the aisle with her!  Maybe we can cheer each other on!

I just turned 30 today.  I am looking to lose 56 lbs by August 1st.  I am a bridesmaid in my sister-in-law wedding and I don't want to look 9 months pregnant when I put on my dress :)
