    It is safe to lose about 2 pounds per week.  You have roughly 8 weeks until your trip.  It is not impossible to lose about 25 pounds, but I would stick with losing between 2 and 3 pounds a week.  Following the Slim-Fast plan will help, and exercise is always a good idea.  I personally love step aerobics because it combines cardio and strength training.  I know it is recommended to exercise 30 minutes a day, 3 days a week, but if you want faster results try exercising 5 or 6 days a week.

  • so, i am going on a trip the second week in jan. i am really wanting to lost 25-30 pounds from now until then...do you guys think this is totally unrealistic and i am just setting myself up for disapointment? and if you do think i can do this let me knows some of your ideas that will help me, as of now i am starting with slim fast diet..HELP!!
