  • Hi Ali, I go BAF; I am an "aspiring" or I should say future military bride and I am also new to the community; I am in the same boat I need some motivation. Let me start by saying that I too had trouble with my weight since High School and I have tried everything; I am now training with a personal trainer and I am on the slim fast program,so I would love to be goal buddies I can really use the motivation; since I have a BIG dream my goal is 140 and then eventually be 136 I am currently 190 lbs. I started the slim fast program at 193 so I have lost 3 lbs. so far I am going for 10 lbs. a month.

     

    I look forward to hearing from you, by the way I go by BAF which stands for Blue Angels Fan.

  • Hi Ali, I am Holly I have been up and down the scale afew times I have been at this for a couple of months and have lost 23 lbs so far. I went out of town for 4 days fast food city and gained 4 lbs I lost it again this week. Three tacos is not that bad mostly lettuce tomatos cheese meat and 3 breads the bread is about 80 cals each the meat about 50 the lettuce and tomatos dont't really count the cheese isn't much an ounce of cheese is about 90 cals at the most so I am sure you stayed within the guidelines for slimfast weight loss Just hand in there and we can talk any time smile Holly.

  • My name is Ali, and I've been doing Sim-Fast for 1 week and have already lost 5lbs!! I haven't really tried to join the community yet, but I really could use a buddy to work with, and encourage each other along the way. I have been struggling with my weight since I was 12, and feels like it's a constant battle to even stay at 200lbs. I did well the first week by losing 5 lbs...but I messed up last night and had 3 tacos with cheese for dinner. So, I know I need more help than just my own will. I have 3 special occasions I'm trying to lose weight for. The reason why I joined was so I could lose 10 lbs by November 21st, which is my dad's surprise B-day party. All of my family and friends will be there, and I haven't seen them in months. So, I would like to feel more comfortable with myself around them on Nov 21st. My next date is of course Christmas, I'm going to have Christmas with my hubbies family, and I would like to not look huge next to all of them in the photos. And my 3 occasion is April 8, 2010, which is my daughters 2yr birthday. I would like to have lost the rest of my weight by 2 yrs after I had her. I think I have gotten a good start, but as I have learned from last night...it doesn't take much to fall off the wagon. I love food!! My overall goal is be a size 10 and weigh about 170-173. I would love to hear from anyone that would like to be goal buddies, or have any tips that they would like to share with me!! Have a great Day!
