I'm losing my job in October / November and I decided I didn't want to be in the IT field anymore. So many people are in the field and I don't have certifications to back up my 10 years of on the job experience which makes getting a job interview for a decent position nealy impossible.

Thinking about my new career and what I really wanted to do, I decided to work towards a Bridal Consulting / Event Planning certification. I checked with my local community college and signed up for classes that would help me in the industry which include Wedding Planning, Floral Design and Cake Decorating.

Now I can't watch an episode of the Cake Boss without craving cake (I don't act on the craving, but I want cake bad) so I'm wandering how the heck am I going to be able to decorate cakes without giving in to the temptation. If I'm lucky, they'll be cardboard cakes that we use to practice our decorating techniques. My diet is definately going to be put to the test when I start this class.
