  • Seems like I, too, need a fast food fix every so often....with a little tweeking we can still eat @ the fast food restaurants & stay w/in our calorie range.

  • When I go to McDonalds I usually do a cheeseburger and side salad, it's good and gives me my fast food fix when my six year old Daughter wants a happy meal.

  • We eat @ McDonalds every so often. I like the yougart/fruit parfait w/o granola for 130 cals & the grilled chicken sandwich w/o mayo (saves 100 cals) 420 cal w/o mayo 320 cals. I like that you can adjust the Slimfast meal plan to include those items in the food analyzer or they will add & save it to your info. I also like the 6" personal pan pepperoni pizza for 610 cals.  It's not always easy to have what you want when you eat out, but with a few changes you can still eat some of your favorites. Keep up your great weight loss!

  • I just started so I want to limit my eating out.  Eventually, I'd like to be able to eat at a fast food place once a week or every 2 weeks, but would find that too challenging at this point.  My biggest weakness is mexican food.

  • I do!
Although, I limit myself to one day a week. It's not really a splurge day, but I do eat wherever I want, and whatever I want. Within my caloric budget.

It's just the day that I don't care if my plate is full of veggies. Since it's only one day, I also tend to only want my absolute favorite things. I'm not going to waste my calories on burger king. I want the authentic New York style pizza, or some crazy good enchiladas.

  • and still lost two pounds this week.  I have the filet o fish with fries and a diet coke--about 700+ calories.  The only other thing I had was a slim fast shake earlier and some cereal..  Still stayed below 1300 calories for the day.  I just didn't eat anything late night and was satisfied.

It can be done.  You can still fit in the foods you like and still lose.  I know it's not the healthiest of choices but for me....learning not to eat late at night and binge eating was an issue.

Mcdonalds has their nutrition pages on thier website that allow you to plan your calories ahead of time.

So, a big mac and a diet coke is about 500+ calories, not too too bad...u still have about 800 calories in the day to play with.

Anyone else still need to have their favorites worked in their "diet".
