A meal that was prepared for years on my dad's side of the family which was cheap and filling was Pork 'N Beans, hamburger and a sprinkle of onion flakes.  A lighter version can be made w/lean ground turkey.

1.  Spray frying pan w/some cooking spray (its non-fat).

2.  Crumble lean ground turkey in pan (1/2 lb.) and fry until completely cooked.

3.  Add a can of pork 'n beans and a sprinkle of onion flakes (have never measured so I can't say how much for sure - probably about 1 tsp per can of beans)

4.  Heat thru and all finished!  Eat like a stew.

If you're fixing for a lot of people - use more turkey and more cans of pork 'n beans....and more onion flakes to taste -- pretty simple to double, triple, etc.

About 290 cal, 10 fat (depending on how good of lean turkey you can find - mine, picked out by my husband who's clueless, is 8 g fat -- not great), and 7 fiber.  6 pts for you Weight Watchers people.  This amt above is for about 2 people so that's how I just figured the calories, etc.

Pork 'N Beans are an execellent source of protein too - 6 grams.

As always, anyone who tries this, let me know if you liked it.  I really enjoy sharing the receipes and hearing your comments.
