On my quest to find and invent new yummy recipes, I have devised one tonight! I love pancakes....So in an attempt to make a better whole grainy, betta fo ya pancaka I came up with this~ and its DIVINE!

Alrighty, here ya go~

Ingredients:

  • 1/2c Water
  • 1/2c Whole Oats (the kind you have to cook, not instant)     140 cal/2.5g fat
  • 1/4 Egg Beaters or 2 Large Egg Whites          30cal/0 fat
  • 1/2tsp Baking Powder      
  • 1/2tsp Vanilla

 

  1. Mix everything but the water. 
  2. Add water to mix until you have a gooyish type dough. 
  3. Heat pan, with a little non-stick spray on medium heat
  4. Pour 2 equal size goo cakes, and cook until brown on each side! (Just as you would a traditional pancaka!)
  5. Serve on plate and enjoy! I used no cal spray butter, with some splenda and cinnamon for sweetness!

Oh my gosh these things are filling and so very enjoyable!  They were great as breakfast for dinner, and dessert all in one!  Let me know how it goes....Bye for now!
