Back in the day when I was young and stupid and didn't know much (in the 60's) after I had my Son I went to the doctor and asked for some diet pills so I could loose about 30 pounds and he phoned in a perscription for me. I didn't even have to go in and see him! I started using them on a Monday morning and felt fabulous and didn't eat at all until after 3:00. By Friday I was thinking if I took a second one at 3:00 I could go all evening. How dumb was I? Then came Saturday... my husband was home from work. I took my pill in the morning and at 3:00 I crashed and he asked what was a matter with me. I told him my diet pill wore off and he said no more and got rid of them. Much later I found out the doctor had given me amphetamines. I hate to think where I, with an addictive type personality, would be now if my husband hadn't been there to stop me that Saturday. My point is there is no quick, easy fix for loosing weight without endangering ourselves. Nearly every diet type aid has side effects that will just add to our problems. We don't need any more breathing problems, heart problems, stomach problems or mental problems. We all have enough to deal with now. We have to do this the hard way. . We are worth the effort and sacrifice ... its okay to be uncomfortable and deprived while we loose around 2 pounds a week. We do not need additional problems. We don't all have to learn the hard way. oh man i have tried anything and everything ...including this. I felt horrible when I took it but I took it for several months. I either never felt hungry and rarely ate or took that and felt I could eat all I want and what ever I want. Heh. It made my heart beat so fast I was constantly on the move because I just couldnt sit still...and when it wore off it was a huge crash. I felt like I drank 5 cups of coffee when using this stuff. I did lose some weight Im not sure exactly how much maybe 20 pounds but I quickly gained it all back. I stopped taking it just because of the way it made me feel. Everyone is different though and if you do decide to use it be sure to talk to your Dr. about it and get it from him/her!
