I don't know if they have to calibrate scales now that they are digital but we have to zero out our weight beds.   Did it have any instructions on how to do that?

right. with the digital you will just need to remember that whatever you weigh you subtract five from it or just weigh on the new ones and remind yourself that the scales are running five pounds heavier and the next week you just go from there. I had to do the same. I use to weigh at the doctors office and now that I can't drive I have to weigh at home. They are heavier than the doctors but I just remind myself that what looked like a gain was just the difference in the scales.

The old scales was 1 lb heavier which could be fluid and the new one is six pounds heavier so it sounds like the new scales are running five pounds heavier that the old ones. Instead of sitting it on zero I would put it on five pounds that would make it the same as the old scales. Wouldn't it? Put the new scales on five pounds and weigh on both and see it they come up the same if they do then you just need to always make sure the new one is set on five pounds instead of zero.

OK I have a question. I went and got a new scale today had mine for a long time. So when i got home I weighed my self on both. the old one was 1 lb heavier from my weigh in on Thursday but then the new one has me 6lbs heavier. so my question is what do I do. if i start using the new one I will have to change my weight more then what the old one says.

I just don't know what to do????????
