  • I'm down 1.4 from last week.  At least my weight is going in the right direction now... but I'm pretty sure I will not be making my xmas goal.

    I must have a thing for being last, cause it seems like I am every week.  Some of you might already know I had a umm ...how should I say "not so good" week.  I gained 3 pounds :(  Oh well, I have moved past that and am trying to get back to making time to log my food in each day instead waiting and doing 3-4 days at a time.  I need to see my numbers every single day to keep me on track.  I hope all of you have a wonderful Thanksgiving and create very special memories with your friends and loved ones!

  • Hi Audra, I know what you mean about the chocolate.  Try making up a small trail mix with no or lightly salted nuts, raisins, and the little choclate bits you get in the bakers section.  I keep a small bowl in the fridge and when I get that CRAVING!!!!! I just grab a handful from the bowl.  and don't forget to drink a big glass of water with it.  Good luck,

  • Well done guys! Haven't posted in a while as havne't lost anything, its been a real nightmare but lost 3 pounds this week so I'm hoping this is me turning a corner, not sure I can deal with not loosing anything for long periods of time!

  • thanks for the words of encouragement girls! im gonna try to step this thing up again... i really dont want to gain any  weight over the holidays, i want to keep losing and get to my goal! and Hilary, i think i will try the water thing! i love water though, its my favorite drink, so it wont be a punishment to drink it, but it might fill me up like you said, and then i wont eat as much when i do go for the bad stuff :/

  • Ok, Audra. Are you guzzling the water?  I know it may be tough...I am a major chocolate lover, myself...but, maybe if you force yourself to drink an entire bottle of water before letting yourself have a piece of chocolate, one of two things could happen.  Either you will decide that the chocolate isn't worth having to drink a whole bottle of water, or the water will fill you up and you'll eat less chocolate.  Just a thought...I'm always trying to figure out new ways to manipulate myself into doing what I should be doing.  My weight stalled for a few weeks there and getting back to my water regiment has made all the difference the last 2 weeks.

    Had a happy weigh-in.  I lost 3 pounds this week!  So happy!  Just realized that I am only 10 pounds from my Christmas goal...haha...ONLY 10 lbs.  :)    Hope you all have a lovely, healthy, "controlled" Thanksgiving.  God Bless ~~ Hilary

    I FINALLY LOST A POUND. I FEEL SO MUCH BETTER. I BURNED CALORIES ONE DAY AND I FEEL BETTER. IM READY AGAIN. HOLIDAYS ARE COMING. I SHOULD BE OKAY. TURKEY IS HEALTHY AND SO ARE GREENS. SMALL PORTIONS FOR LUNCH AND DINNER AND SUGAR FREE/ REDUCED FAT ON THE DESSERTS. AND I AM GOING TO STAY ON MY EXERCISE ROUTINE EVEN FOR THE HOLIDAYS. ITS GETTING TO CLOSE TO CHRISTMAS. ALTHOUGH I HAVE A LOT OF POUNDS TO SHED, I JUST WANT TO MAKE SURE I REACH MY GOAL OR COME CLOSE SO I CAN CONTINUE MY JOURNEY. I REALIZE I WILL BE CLOSE TO LOSING MY FIRST 100 POUNDS BEFORE THE NEW YEAR BEGIN. GOOD JOB EVERYONE!!!!!!!!! AND HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!!!!

  • You have done such an amazing job so far. You have proven you can do it. Don't let the chocolate undo you. I am thankful tat the chocolate SF bars are helping me keep my mind off the real thing and I make sure it is time for my bar when my husband or friend has something delicious. You can  beat this.     still no weight loss.... feeling pretty bummed! ive had a kinda sad week, i lost my biggest motivation... ive been sticking to my diet for the most part, but barely been working out. and i keep eating CHOCOLATE!!! i cant stay away from it! its always been my weakness, but through this journey ive been able to avoid it by saying to myself "i want this thing more than i want that chocolate!" but for some reason, thats just not working lately :(    

    I've really gotta get back on track here....
