  • Thanks is not enough. With your help there were no tears and no food. I am not going to be defeated by a body that wants to keep that 1/2 pound. It will have to let go of it. I am officially the boss of myself now. Thank you for your understanding and encouragement. God Bless You All, Suzanne  

  • You are doing great!  Keep up the good work. Taking a walk or allowing yourself some time helps.  I agree that talking to the friends on here is always helpful.  Have a beautiful day and remember just how beautiful you are!

  • Hope your day turned out to be a good one....and the hike up the bluff burned a few calories...you are going to lose that 1/2 lb plus at least another one...just work the plan...eat the right foods, drink lots of water and keep moving....you have the power to change your life...it is good; becoming healthier is only going to make the future better!  Wishing you a great week and an even better weigh in!!  Hugs, SisterC

  • Hi Suzanne.... sorry you are feeling in the dumps today. I still get that feeling occassionally on the weekends.  Yesterday when I felt that feeling coming on, I put on my shoes and went outside and raked leaves for an hours.  I felt like a new person afterwards. We have to acknowledge when we are feeling down and do something about it - before we turn to food. It's a learning process that I am finally getting the hang of. I know how anxious you must be to get that first ten pounds off, that is the first mini-goal most of us set for ourselves. You can do! Keep to the SF plan and even bump up your exercise to make sure that it comes off.  For me, I really have to watch the sodium intake or I wont show a loss on the scale. Keep smling and enjoy the rest of your SUNday!

  • Hi All, I am in the dumps this morning. It's a familiar place. I used to be there all the time before I started SF, so I guess this is better than before. I am so desperate to reach my first ten pound goal and the last half pound is so firmly attached to me it won't budge. . On the good side, my mood swings are quicker and I recover better most of the time which is a pleasant surprised to my Hubby!  I think that is what he loves best about my diet! Well, today I will cut some corners off my diet and hike up the bluff again today and  see if that gets that 1/2 pound off my back.  Just talking to you guys makes me feel better. Thanks.
