    I just wanted to let you know that I also lose weight slower than most even tho I stick to the plan and exercise. It's just the way my body works. It is as they say, slow & steady". It's very difficult to see your buddies zooming thru their numbers when the scale hardly moves and I had almost given up a few times. But I hung in there with help from my buddies and am proud to say I finally hit my 40# loss this weekend! hat's with diieting since 1-1. A lot slower tahn I'd like, but a lsubstantial loss none the less. So, keep up the good work and keep pluggin' along. It is worth it!

  • Hey congrats! It might not be going as fast as you would like but you didn't gain the weight over night. It wont go away that fast either. At least you are losing, that is always a good thing. Good luck! You can do it!

  • Make this weight loss your hobby. Put together some material to keep track of your weight loss and keep track. SF has material that you could print out. Put in a beautiful notebook that you design. Use bright colors so you are tempted to pick it up and use it. Keep it by your bedside. So when you wake up, you know what type of day you should have to make this weight loss successful. I have a goal box. Its just a small index card box with index cards that I use to plan my daily meal goals on one side and plan my exercise goal on the other side. At the end of the day I document everything on my SF documents. I would love to make these pounds come off faster. But I have enough diagnosis. Taking it slow is better and healthier. I weigh my self the same way and at the same time every week and I haven't gain, I am loving the loss. Use the stretch videos on SF. They are fun. I do them with my daughter and we laugh about it because of what I can do. I try my best and Im not giving up anymore. So stay focus and keep trying your best.

  • My progress has been really slow too!  Don't get discouraged!  I try to look at the big picture and any loss is better than a gain.  I have kind of resigned myself to the fact that I lose slowly but even if it takes two years imagine the condition we will be in if we give up!    I found that if I really keep track and write everything down I am better off.  Exercise is really important too!  Look at everything not just the scale!  You can do it!

  • I am sorry you are feeling so sad.  Remember that slow and steady wins the race.  They say that losing 10 pounds a month is a healthy weight loss.  You are not to far off track!  Don't forget to keep a food journal and to exercise too.  Hang in there and just concentrate on doing the best you can one day at a time. 

  • i've started my slim-fast diet from jun-3 but up to now i've lost 11 pounds only... it's been 42 days & i'm really upset with my progress... please help~~~
