  • Congrats on those 2 pounds!  At least you did not gain those 2 pounds...a loss is a loss and enjoy it...you deserve to celebrate...you have had so much going on in your life...revel in your body's ability to drop 2 pounds...it is a good thing.   And I don't think I will make my Christmas goal either, but I am getting closer to it and that is what counts...I am not giving up!  Stay true to the plan this week...Thanksgiving is just another meal...fill up the plate with veggies...stay away from too many desserts...avoid the sugar and salt...and enjoy spending time with family...it is about the focus on family and all there is to be thankful for rather than how many times a plate can be filled...I know that whatever food I put on my plate had better be worth walking for miles!!!  I am proud of you Kaye; you have worked so hard to lose the weight...and look at how far you have come...imagine going to the grocery store and putting 28 pounds of butter in your cart...it is amazing and you have accomplished that amount....Celebrate each pound...you are getting closer to your goal. Hugs, SisterC

  • I love it . . . "A Non-Food Focused Day"!

    Great saying and attitude.

  • We should remember before we started this program we were all in a weight gaining pattern so just staying the same is a great accomplishment. also even when we dont' show losses but are working out faithfully we will still be loosing fat weight while we gain muscle weight. Now that is excellent progress even when the scale doesn't cooperate. Have a great non food focused day. Suzanne

  • I consider no change to a -0.5 a huge success . . . every week you chip even a fraction of a pound away, then you are that much closer to your goal.

    Keep up the great work!

  • Today was Friday weigh in. I was not looking forward to it. I had lose my way on the journey this past week and I knew it was not going to be good. But I LOST 2 pounds. Thank you Jesus. Now before we get real excited about this I have lose and gained this same 2 pounds for the past 8 weeks. But today is a new day for me. I am sticking to the program. I am going to be getting into the exercise really heavy this week. I am going to see if I can now lose since I have the same old two pounds off again. I don't see anyway of making it to my Christmas challange but I will get just a close as possible.
