  • Congratulations Nancy, Every small victory is such a big deal. I am amazed that you could have one fudge and get back in control. Skinny Nancy is certainly a powerful person!  Good going! Suzanne

  • NancyNY73:
bagels, muffins, banana bread, cinnamon rolls,

You walked away from *all* those yummies.....AWESOME! You are truly amazing, Nancy. I would have seriously struggled with my internal demons. On my SF meal plan last weak there was one snack scheduled for "Raspberries and chocolate"....I knew that I wouldn't be able to handle just only 4 Hersheys kisses so I doubled up on the Raspberries. Willpower and determination must get better if you only had one piece of fudge. I am proud of you and encouraged in my own resolve because of what you were able to accomplish yesterday!

  • Oh, Wow Nancy!   You are doing great!  And I totally understand about crossing the legs...I posted the same thing on here when I could do that!! LOL!  Amazing the things we have given up because of our size...just wait, there are more great discoveries like that coming your way.

What kind of evil people do you work with that would be bringing fudge to the break room????  How dare they!!  Yet, you stayed strong...how wonderful...you should be very proud of yourself...Keep up the good work; you are going to be that skinny Nancy soon!  Hugs, SisterC

  • So proud of you.  I love to hear even the littlest victories because they all add up.  I love how the skinny you was talking...great image!

  • Hello all, hope you're all well, God bless.

I haven't been posting a whole lot lately but I'm sticking to SF.  This morning I got on the scale and I was 253, that means I've lost 28 lbs. so far!  WOW, just 2 more lbs. until I hit the 30 lbs. lost mark, then when I get to 247-248 I'll be the "thinnest" I've been in 10 years.  At work I was assisting a little boy with a test he was taking and I was trying to get comfortable in one of those darn little chairs.  I finally found a comfy spot and it took me at least a full minute to realize something, I was crossing my legs!  I can't remember the last time I did that!

At lunch I walked into the faculty room and some truly evil co-workers brought in a whole slew of goodies, lol.  There was the whole spread in front of me, bagels, muffins, banana bread, cinnamon rolls, but all that I could walk away from.  What got to me was the homade fudge.  Why, karma, why?  I had a tiny piece, oh it tasted ridiculously good, then I started to reach for another when "skinny Nancy" spoke to me.

"Look at what you accomplished today, are you just going to throw that away?  Do you really want to face another 'cupcake incident?' "  (my slip up last month.)

So I walked away and that one little piece of fudge was my only indiscretion of the day.  Overall it was a great day and I'm feeling pretty good!
