    HEY JUST WANTED TO SAY YOU ARE DOING GREAT AUDRA. I AM STILL AT 348. HAVEN'T BEEN DOING MUCH EXERCISING, BUT HAVEN'T GAIN ANY WEIGHT. I STILL HAVE TIME TO REACH MY GOAL BY CHRISTMAS OR COME CLOSE. WAITING TO GET MY LAPTOP FIXED SO I CAN KEEP UP WITH EVERYONE. KEEP UP THE GOOD JOB EVERYONE. HOPE TO BE BACK ON NEXT WEIGH IN.

    You guys are really doing wonderful...  I am trying to get on the band wagon.  Keeping connected really helps.  The bad news is I only lost 1 lb.. but I know I can try harder.  I ate correctly but I need to pump up the exercise, the 10 min challenge is going to help because once your exercising you will keep going for at least 30 mins. and that's what I need at least 30 mins a day and move up to 45.  I am fighting my way for some extra pounds this week.   I am pretty pissed because I have been doing this for too long  to only see this little number of weight gone but that's ok I have gotten mad with the fat I am in it to win it..

  • no you are not to late. What some of us have done is to set a goal of where we want to be by Christmas. I don't see me getting to mine. When I started slim fast I weighed 351. I wanted to weigh 299 by Christmas and be out of the 300 range for once a very long time. That meant I needed to lose 52 pounds. I had I hopes but not very realistic now. I have had several set back and have only lost 26 pounds. But I strive to get to my goal. Just set a goal for yourself.  Glad to have you a part of us.

  • I'm new to the board am I too late to join the Christmas weigh in ?

  • I was up 3, but kept my ticker the same.  PMS...yuck.  It will come off this week, but I'm struggling more than I thought I would when I made my original 25 pound goal.  I will keep working really hard, but to be honest with you, I will be thrilled with 20!

  • My weigh in was not good. Have not got to weigh in two week and I gained two pounds. The same two pounds I have gained and lost for the past six weeks. The swine flu is making its way through my house, my son has been in the hospital, the elderly lady I sit with is in the hospital basically dying and I can't get to her because I am contagious. I guess you could call it a lot of excuses but I look at it as a lot of potholes in my journey. Need to get back on track. I know I will never make it to my Christmas challenge but I will get as close as possible.

  • Aww...I'm SO sorry, Audra. I totally know how you feel.  I had a no lose weigh-in week before last and then only lost one pound last week.  So, I've been feeling pretty frustrated for the last 2 weeks.  I'm sure you'll post a loss next week!  

    I had a pretty happy weigh-in.  Lost 2 pounds. Yea!  I believe I proved to myself this week that exercise has got to be a part of my life if  I want to keep losing weight...UGH!  Oh well, I can honestly say that I don't detest exercise nearly as much now that I am over 30 pounds lighter.  :)
