  • Woo HOOOO making your goal early!  What a great Christmas gift to yourself.. a fantastic gift at that.  You are doing amazing.  You will be just fine on that cruise, I'm sure of it.  I can’t WAIT to hit my mini-Christmas-goal.  Exciting to see Christmas happening in November, you rock girlie!

  • I'm here, late to the party as usual, but I DID IT!!!!!  I made my Christmas goal of 278 already!  So I guess that means I need to make a new one...Hmm, how many weeks unitl Christmas?  Looks like 6, so normally that would mean I would aim for 12 pounds from now.  But I do have a 2 week cruise coming up in the beginning of Dec. and I would be kidding myself if I thought I could lose 2 pounds/week  while on vacation.  I'll be happy with a maintain during that time.  But then again...what the heck, I will say 12 pounds and have to work hard before I leave and for the week I get back before Christmas.  So my new goal will be 265 by Christmas!!!

  • Way togo girl, Audra I know you are so happy... Congrats to you... It is beautiful to know that you have accomplished something that is so hard.    Hi Hilary, good for you too.  It's great that you are now down 30 lbs... I am trying to hang in there.  Yes I fell off alot of bits, not a little bit.  I work from 8 to 5 pm everyday and it's always something to eat or snack on. Subway is downstairs in our building and no I do not go and buy the sandwiches, I go and buy the cookies.  So far I have been on track again for 3 days. The main thing that helps me is when I  take fruits and veggies to work to snack on, then I feel guilty if I eat something else.  I am determined to reach my christmas goal.  You guys really motivate me and make me aware of that chocolate that I love to eat. (A big no no) Really it's not worth it.  I do not want to have bad health , therefore, I know what I must do.  Thank you to everyone who tells us the fantastic triumps they have won.   We are not going to let this weight win..  By the way yes I am still at 10 lbs.  But it will be better next week.  I am going to have to stay motivated and not turn the television on when I come home from work.  Because as soon as I walk in the house I sit on the sofa and there I am, I have no idea why I do that and I know what I should be doing but I keep saying I'm tired and then I make excussed to look at TV.  The funny thing is if I was listening to someone else I would say, they are not serious about getting fit and changing their eating habits. But now that person is me.. Yeah that"s funny huh.. I need to get serious, I do not want to look like this for ever, not even next summer.

We can do this together.... I am back on board.. Thanks for the nudge.

After going up a little, I'm finally losing again. I've been walking/jogging 3 times a week. I feel like the activity is really helping control my appetite. I started my new job last monday, so I'm hoping to settle into a good routine here soon and get back to Shakes 2x a day.

Keep up the good work everyone!

  • You guys are doing fab! and Hilary 30 pounds is a mile stone! and not a mill stone around your neck anymore! Good going all of you. And slow is better than no. Keep up the good work and keep sweating with the oldies or pumping iron!

  • WooHoo!  You're in the 170's now, Audra!  Way to go!  I FINALLY lost one stinking pound after not losing anything last week.  That puts my total weight loss to 30 pounds since Sept. 1.  YEA!!!!  That excitement was reserved for the 30 pounds lost, NOT the one measly pound in two weeks.  But, I guess I should be pleased about that pound b/c I am definitely bloated today, so it could have been a gain. So, maybe I've actually lost more than a pound but just need to guzzle more water...may have overdone on the sodium yesterday.  Hmmm...still struggling with exercise.  REALLY hoping for a better weigh in next week...I'm due!  Hope everyone else had a great week!  God Bless -- Hilary
