  • I'm late to posting this...  Only down 0.2lbs this week putting me at 13lbs total.  I was really hoping for more, I was averaging a pound a week (i was ok with that too) but I've only lost 1.5lbs in the past 4 weeks!  Not too happy with that, AND it all started when I started exercising!  How does that make any sense, lol

  • I'm re-posting this even though some of you have already seen it, because you asked me if i had any tips... this really is how i get through this! i have 2 goals.. 2 things that i want, and i cant have either one of them until i reach my goal weight, or at least until my body looks amazing, lol :)

"just a tip..... when it comes to not cheating and making unhealthy food choiches, or pushing yourself to workout harder, you HAVE to have a goal in your mind. especially at those moments! and i dont just mean your goal weight... i mean something that you want. something that you feel like you cant get or cant have unless you lose this weight! thats how i keep myself motivated! there is something that i want.... and i AM going to get it!!! and when i feel tempted by cookies or junk food, i tell myself that i want "this thing" more than i want those cookies! and when i dont feel like working out, i tell myself that its for "this thing" and then i find it in me to push through! hope this helps you all a little :)"

Most of you already heard my deal this week too, just a lousy pound of water weight gain from a sodium OD.  Look for good numbers from me next week!!

Well, only two pounds gone but it's better than nothing. I've really got to step up my game if I'm going to hit my goal by Christmas. I need to be losing at least 3 pounds a week to get there. I've been thinking about adding an extra 30 min. work out per day to see if that kick starts anything. We will see... I just really want to see the number 199 or lower. It's been about 7 years since I've been in the 100's so that we be a very exciting day. I'd love to make it there by November. That's my new mini goal.

Yeah for you Hilary! I think that once you cross the 25 pounds lost barrier sticking with the diet just seems so much easier. Maybe that is just me but by the time you lose that much weight A) it's become habit B) you start really seeing and feeling the positive changes and they give you so much encouragement to keep going.

Hopefully we all have HUGE numbers next week to celebrate. Keep it up!

  •    Sorry you girls aren't enjoying better weigh-ins...but, Audra, you've been with this for a while...surely you've hit plateaus before?  At least you lost!  Not to brag, but I've been waiting all day for you to post the Christmas Challenge b/c I was so excited about my weigh-in.  I lost 2 pounds...which isn't really the exciting part.  The thing that made me so happy is that I have crossed the 25 pound barrier!!  I started SF at 240 lbs...today, I weighed in at 214.  That's 26 pounds lost since Sept. 1.  Yea!!!  Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend and a successful week ahead!  God Bless -- Hilary
