Fantastic!  You are doing great!  When I buy clothes now...first, they need to be on the sale rack!  and second...I purchase a size smaller than I wear...something to work for and then I wear them for awhile... til they are too big.  Was thinking I was smart to buy some dark brown pants this summer...only 9.99...and figured I could wear them this fall...well, they are too large and I can no longer wear them and not look sloppy!  Wasn't that long ago that I could pull anything out of the closet and it would fit....now I have to clean out the closet again...my 'small' clothes are too large and I am down to very few clothes again.....such a dilemma, isn't it?  LOL   Okay, and I am too cheap to buy any new sweat pants/wind pants....I am cinching the ties as tight as I can get them...of course, it looks ridiculous....all puffed out around the waist and hips...and they still slide down!! Haha!  I am no fashion queen around here!  I may have to buy some new sweats since winter is fast approaching and I really don't want things sliding down when they shouldn't...and neither do the neighbors!  LOL  Hugs, SisterC

You rock! I think it's awesome you jumped in and tried on the smaller size, we don't know unless we try right? Thank for making the point about the clothes too. I have had a bit of a back slide on the scale - but the clothes are fitting good, so I'm gonna feel good about that and not worry so much about the scale. Again, Good job on looking your best!

That is just wonderful, Sayeater !!  I know you were so happy...especially after our several days of feeling "fat".  Today, I am wearing those size  18 Levi's I bought about 3 weeks ago.  They fit great...so nice to not have to suck in when zipping up.  And, JodiHut...you are doing great, too.  I bet you look beautiful in your "new" suit!  I have several too small things with tags still on that are waiting for me, also.  Keep up the great work ladies!  God Bless -- Hilary

Congrats! That is a great story!  For me, clothing has been a better indicator of my weight loss than the scale.  Last night I was picking out my clothes to wear to work today and remembered that waaaaaaay in the back of my closet I had a 4-piece suit that I bought more than two years ago that I have never had on my body. (Yes, I bought it too small at the beginning of one of my diets in hopes that it would fit me one day.) Well, that day is today! It's a beautiful black suit with burgundy pinstripes.  It's a size 18 and I was wearing a size 22 before Slimfast.  This is really the first day that my co-workers have commented on my weight loss. I think wearing a fitted suit instead of baggy blouses helps.  I love SF too!!!

what a great feeling!

So I had a meeting last night after work and some of you might know that I was complaining yesterday about my jeans that I had to keep hiking up cause they were getting too big.  Well I was in the ladies room before I left work and realized that they just looked ridiculous on me and was fretting about going to the meeting looking frumpy.  So with 15 minutes to spare before the meeting started ( I love to cut things close), I decide to go shopping for a new pair of jeans.  The last pair of jeans that I bought this year were a size 6 (yes, people we are talking about Lane Bryant here) and they kind of still fit ok ( they're not the ones that were falling off today), so I ran in and grabbed a size 5 from the shelf, then I said well I'll take a 4 too and see how far off I am.  So I went in and tried on the 5's, they fit fine (anything was better than what I had on), so I said let's see about the 4's.  I pulled them on and zipped them right up, no tummy sucking needed.  They felt just right!  I was so happy, I wore them out the door (after paying of course).   Did I tell you that I love SF??!!!
