  • This is a great post.. and really makes me think of the reasons why I want to lose weight (of course it's really not that hard!) I really enjoyed reading some of the other posts and was equally suprised when I saw other people posting the same reasons as me!!!

    Well here it goes:

    1) to feel healthier and physical be better

    2) gain my confidence back

    3) need to buy clothes but don't want to buy anything until I lose weight

    4) also want to be able to wear sexy things and not be so self-concious in them!!

    5) to wear a 2 piece bathing suit and not cover myself up anyways

    6) when my boyfriend says my weight bothers him... and we almost broke up because of it

    and i borrowed these from Kanders3

    7) setting weight loss goals for myself but NEVER coming close to reaching my goal

    8) tired of the regrets and the "I wish I would have's". I dont want to look back in 15 years and regret not doing something about my weight sooner...

  • Hi I'm Francesca!!!

    I'm a food junkie. My boyfriend is a cigarette fanattic. I feel like we let these things have a huge are hinderous to us. I feel like my addiction is no better than someone who is highly addicted to drugs. I weighted myself and see me at 270 lbs and I'm like enough.  I'm starting this NEW YEAR off with a bang. I am going to lose this weight for the following reasons:

    1. Health

    2. Confidence

    3. Clothes and shoes

    4. Going on vacation

    5 2013 High School Reunion!!!!

    this 5 things will be prepare me for a bundle of other things. I want children to be available for me to have right (right now its not because my weight makes me have no period) I am ready to take the leap and I don't want to be FAT anymore. I have a fat confidence. I say I'm confortable in my skin...but I want skinny girl confidence. I love pumps but is unable to wear them confortable all day...I can't wait

    1. I'm tired of saying "I'm going to lose the weight by (insert some big event in my life)"

    2. I'm tired of 2/3 of my clothes not fitting and I refuse to buy new clothes for the size I am now.

    3. I'm tired of not being able to keep up with my boyfriend and my busy schedule.

    4. I'm tired of living this reoccuring cycle where I lose a little wieght but don't stick with it and never reach my goal.

    5. Really I'm just tired...tired of the regrets and the "I wish I would have's". I dont want to look back in 15 years and regret wasting my 20's being fat!

  • Hello Ladies, I have been so busy and not able to post but as of Monday the 14th I lost 6 pounds in one week I know it is water weight but still it made me happy. Hopefully when I weigh on Monday I will be down 4 more. I am trying to stay off the scales except for Monday's.

  • I have tons of reasons that I'm trying this again but I'll try to get the top ones here!

    1. To be healthy so that I can safely have a child.

    2. To get into a sexy bathing suit again!

    3. All new clothes of course!

    4. To love myself again and have more confidence.

    5. To help my joints, which already suck at 23.

  • There are so many more than five reasons!

    1. The need to be healthy! My father died of a massive heart attack at age 43. I was only 16.

    2. Tired of my aching back, hips, knees, ankles and feet!

    3. I don't want to be the chubbiest girl in the office or gatherings.

    4. I want to wear lingerie and actually feel sexy instead of wanting to turn the lights off!

    5. I would like to see myself in the group photo and think "I look great!", instead of "Delete that one, I look FAT!"  

  • This is a great idea to list why you would like to lose weight!

    1. To be healtier and feel more energized.

    2. I have 7 plastic tubs stored in the back of my store with clothes that range in sizes from 4- 12 and I would like to be a size 6 again.

    3. I would like to be able to run more then just a minute at a time without feeling as though my heart is going to explode.

    4.To feel more confident.

    5.So I can carry on a conversation while walking without getting winded.

  • My reasons are pretty depressing but here goes

    1. My ex just told me he would have sex with my fine sister, but he didn't say it that nicely

    2. My daughter took a picture of me with her cell phone while I was sitting at the computer and upon looking at it, I discovered my stomach sits in my lap, way beyond my breasts.

    3. I am pre-diabetic, and since I already have hypertension, I don't want to add to my health problems.

    4. I'm tired of wearing huge clothes, elastics, long  t-shirts, going shopping with my sister and having to pretend I see nothing I like because I don't want to admit nothing will fit me

    5. I want to live

    I really need help guys. I have no friends, no one to talk to, I cry all the time. This is my first day on the forum, and I plan on buying the slim fast on my next trip to the store. All my weight is in my stomach and need help.
