    I've done the exact same thing this week by just letting myself start getting used to watching my calories and water intake. It is a BIG deal to learn these kinds of lifestyle changes instead of eating and drinking whatever we want without even thinking about it. I am serious about achieving my goals this time so I am taking it slow to start turning this into an everyday lifestyle instead of going gung-ho with an unrealistic diet I would never be able to maintain once the initial excitement wore off, and same goes for the exercising. I kind of think about it like the tortoise and the hare story, slow and steady wins the race!

    If you are unable to make your own dinners, maybe you can try to start making youself a healthy side dish to eat first. If she makes pizza, make yourself a big salad with lots of veggies and eat that first so you start getting full. Then enjoy one slice, or a half slice. Or have a piece of fruit a half hour before dinner so you don't eat as much either. Having a couple frozen dinners on hand "just in case" might work too. I know from experience how difficult it can be to stay on track if you are the only one in the house trying to eat healthier foods. If you want help brainstorming some ideas, just let me know! I am here for you! Hopefully you can talk to your boyfriend's mom about it though and she will be understanding and encouraging by helping you out. Good luck!

  • I lost 4lbs this week so i am happy its a start need to get control over excercise and water intake also work on my calorie intake if i can convince my boyfriend's mom to cook healthier or i just have sandwhichs for dinner for now on because she is always making pizza and fatty stuff no wonder i gained weight here and all she keep powered donuts and stuff for snack i don't do snack but i am stuck with the dinner unless i start making dinners..... lol gues thats it will make my own dinners unless i know calories at least i got control over my eating i less how much i eat and now my stomach srunk so i don't each as much i use to

    I was using this week to get used to eating properly and drinking so much water. I haven't had soda for an entire week! I am starting to get used to everything now so I am definitely going to start exercising this week. And I know what you mean about the restroom! I wonder what my water bill is going to be this month, and from now on...

  • Congrats to you too!  One thing about exercising, at least for me, is that it puts my mind off food for just a little bit.  My water intake is a little lower than I'd like, it gets annoying having to visit the restroom every 15 minutes if you know what I'm talking about :)

    I too am at 219, down 6 pounds!! I did not exercise at all this week though. So that is my goal for this next week,  I am going to start doing SI6 like I promised! I'm getting in at 100oz of water every day and sticking to my calorie intake without going over.

  • Happy Friday yall!  Proud to say that I jumped on the scale this morning and I'm at 219 pounds, down 4 pounds from last week!!!  Very happy, but think I need to eat more and get more fruits and snacks into my diet.
