  • Oh boy did I have some temptations and weak moments this weekend too! The weekends are hardest for me as well - something about being at home all day . . . or something.  Friday night we went out to a bar and I switched my normal drink, a vodka and cranberry, to a vodka and soda water (which is still pretty tasty).  But then, this is where I got into trouble- everyone wanted to go out for pizza! I limited myself to only two slices of veggie but I'm sure by the end of the night I def. overdid my calorie intake.  But I'm glad to say then for Saturday and Sunday I just reduced by calorie intake to about 1100-1200, drank a ton of water, and I lost 2 lbs last week! WEEEEE!

  • well, i've had some temptations this weekend as well. friday night my husband and I ordered a large supreme pizza from dominoes and there was only one piece left when we finished!!!!!!!!!!!!! but boy was it good!!!!!!!!!! anyway, then the next day we went out to dinner with some friends and didn't eat until after 8:00 which is a major no no, but sunday i did a little better, did the slim fast for breakfast and ate fruit all during the day to fight off starvation and ate dinner around 4:30. It's monday so i'm going to try to get back on my routine. for some reason the weekends are hard for me to stay on track. i was curious about your walking video. do you just walk in place inside your house? i was thinking about getting one myself. i get bored on the gazelle and it's too cold to walk outside. well too cold for me anyway, i do see neighbors walking in the neighborhood, but i'm a sissy when it comes to cold weather. anyway, hang in there and give those cookies to a neighbor or take them to a nursing home or to the kids in the neighborhood. get them out of the house!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • yes  u can fine  the teas at wal-mart ,because my husband drinks them. and the r not thath expendsive then the other stores .hope u doing good on the ride  keepthe good work up .Also could u plz explain how 2 get my ticker this web site i am a member. dont t forget to ride the gazelle!

  • thanks!!! !!! i drink the diet white tea. i read where the white tea (which also contains gree tea) has alot of antioxidants and fights off infections such as strep. i drink it everyday. it took some getting use to because the diet tea is not as sweet as the regular but i'm use to it now and i won't drink anything except the diet. it also comes in powder form in the kool aid isle and it has no sodium. i like the gazelle but i can only ride it about 20 to 30 minutes at a time because my knees start hurting, when i get off and walk around the house they feel better, so i'll get back on and go another 20 minutes or so. try walmart for the tea if you don't want diet. they carry both. good luck with your diet.

  • well it's been 2 weeks since i started my diet/exercise plan and i've lost 4 lbs. so far. i've been drinking slimfast for breakfast and eating a cereal bar mid morning and eating lean cuisine for lunch and slimfast for dinner at least 3 days a week and drinking only white tea or water. i've been exercising on my gazelle at least 3-5 times per week and i already feel better. i've notice my cravings for chocolate have virtually gone away and whenever i do feel the urge i eat a low fat choc chip cereal bar. i've been logging what i eat each day on my desk calendar at work and that helps me keep track of my calorie intake. hope everyone out there is doing good staying motivated. it's hard sometimes, i know some days i'm tired when i get home from work and would much rather climb into bed instead of exercising, but i force myself to do it and i always feel much better about myself afterward.
