My name is Hiliary and I'm a 34 year old mother, wife and teacher in NJ.  My husband and I are doing slim fast together... but I think he's cheating LOL (on slim fast that is) so I think I need to look for a support group elsewhere.  I'd love to be buddies.  How are you doing with your weightloss?  I've been on this diet for almost a week and nothing has happened yet.  I hope I'm doing this right.  I feel pretty hungry at times, so I guess I have reduced my calories enough to notice it.  We'll see what happens.

Hi Mary, I am 51 with 3 kids and a husband. I also joined hoping to get motivation and lots of friends to help me stay with this. My old habits do come back time after time. I was always one of those kids that thought I had to clean my plate at each meal and it stayed with me into adulthood. I love to eat and it has really been hard to get past. I want to "eat to live" not "live to eat" !!

Hi, my name is Mary, I'm 41 years old, three kids and a fiance.  I joined this forum because I am looking to finally make some permanent changes in my life in order to become more healthy and active.  I realize how much better I feel when I take care of myself, yet old habits die hard and sometimes its easy to slip back into the old patterns of eating poorly and not exercising.  I am determined to make permanent ,life changing, positive changes this time around and am looking for buddies who feel the same way!!
