&lt;p&gt;I haven&amp;#39;t seen the dr yet, appointment is next tuesday.&amp;nbsp; I am in much better spirits today.&amp;nbsp; On Sunday and Monday I was pretty sure that something was torn and looking at possible surgery or at least a really long recovery.&amp;nbsp; But each day has gotten slightly better since.&amp;nbsp; Yesterday at lunch, I took off my knee brace and tried bending it, and as long as I don&amp;#39;t use my muscle to move it, it will bend.&amp;nbsp; The fact that it didn&amp;#39;t bruise or swell very badly I&amp;#39;m thinking is a really good sign.&amp;nbsp; One thing that does bother me is that when i bend it up and try to straighten it back out, I get a very intense pain until something pops and then goes away.&amp;nbsp; It happens everytime.&amp;nbsp; I was bad on Monday!&amp;nbsp; I ended up leaving work early to go home and lay in bed and I asked my husband to pick up some cookie dough at the store (that is my weekness).&amp;nbsp; He argued with me, but brought it home anyway.&amp;nbsp; It definately helped me feel better that night, but now I think I will make cookies with it, because then it&amp;#39;s not so irrisistable.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Way to go Char!&amp;nbsp; 2 pounds this week!&amp;nbsp; Sorry to hear about the shingles.&amp;nbsp; I had a friend who had them once and I hear they are quite painful.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;I am down 2 this week. That is 5 more from my new goal.&amp;nbsp; I really have to plan for Thanksgiving. I overeat&amp;nbsp; every year.&amp;nbsp; I will be baking raisin pies. They just consist of the shells, raisins and sugar. I use splenda. My dad loves them, and has no idea there is splenda in them. If he knew, he would find something wrong with them.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Well, I have shingles now. They hurt so bad. Worse than any surgery I have had.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;11/2 weeks to go until Thanksgiving with 3 pounds to go.&amp;nbsp; I need to lose 2 pounds this week and 1 next in order to make my goal.&amp;nbsp; I think I can because I know I could have been better this week.&lt;/p&gt;
