  • Good evening to everyone. I was able to do some workout at Curves tonight, mostly cardio stuff. Some of the machines will have to wait until my neck and back gets better. I was thrilled when I weighed in. I lost 1 1/2 lbs, which put me over the 10 lb mark. I am so thankful for this program all the posts and help I get from all of you. I can't do it alone,,,heaven knows I have tried, and failed. I will continue to do what I am doing and see how the next 10 comes off. I am so determined more than ever. For all the new people, IT WORKS, hang in there and stay with all the winners here on SF..becky

  • That's it Patty! Stay focused and keep that positive outlook!!!!!   When weight comes off slow, it becomes easier to maintain and manage to keep off because as you are loosing you are also learning a new way of eating, exercising and living.  Here's a little something I do for my own encouragement...I put out a pair of jeans that are a size smaller than what I am in and what I want to get into...as I see them...each and every day...it remains a constant reminder that if I want to fit into them, I have to be conscious of my plan.  Time is not ever defined...but, I will say that it is very successful!!!!! 

    Continue your positive focus and know that we're all cheering you on!!!!!  Have a great Monday!  Cindi

Girl, I am sorry that you are still hurting in your neck and back.  I will continue to keep you lifted up in prayer my sister!  But I am sooooo proud of you for doing so good at your fish fry!!!!!  And I can't wait to hear how your weigh in goes tonight at Curves.  You've been doing great and I am encouraged with you!!!!!

  • Gwyn!  Way to go!!!  I think it was good for those of us that went closet raiding!!!!  Nothing like trying on those outfits that we just shoved to the back because all they did was serve to be a discouragement.  But, now...clothes can serve to be our encouragement!!!!  Turning around:9731  And you have the right attitude already about this week...you have already determined what you will do!  Very good!!!!!

  • Teri!  That is soooooo awesome!!!!  I think that though the scale wasn't so much our friend this week...the closet was!  haha  But, we're not done...ths is a new week and new goals and new accomplishments come with it!!!  I bet your dogs were excited to be outside!  It is still yucky here in Arkansas so, too muddy outside to do anything.  It's definitely Spring...rain, rain and more rain!  So, yesterday for us was movie day...but, today is a new day...back to work and kiddies back to school from Spring Break.  Routines are good!  I just have all the confidence in the world for you when you go back to work!  You will do great and be an awesome inspiration to your co-workers!!!!!

  • Hi. It is interesting our different views on weighing in daily, or not. I do. It keeps me focused on working towards my goal every single day.  I know that I will be stepping on the scale in the morning the next day, so it helps my self control when choosing what to eat, and when, and how much. But, I know that a weekly weighing works better for some people. Interesting.

    Let's all have a fantastic week. I look forward to your posts and support. WE CAN, AND WILL.

  • I am with you on that one , Patty.  It is hard to not step on the scale in the morning.  I know I do it.  I just want to see.  I only record my weight though once a week.  Curiosity kille the cat, well, I am that cat I guess. 

    Everyone, I will you all a wonderful week, full of intellegent eating, and plenty of good exercising.

  • hi Teri , way to go size 12 is great, i can't wait to get into mine i have afeeling it will take 6 months i guess it is best to focus on 2 pounds a week and be happy with that sometimes the scale is not your friend, , we are told not to weigh but once a week but sometimes it is hard not to     keep up the good work and have a great week,  Patty
