  • Happy Sunday to everyone. I had over 120 posts to go through this AM. I have been lying low all weekend, as I pulled or pinched something in my back up to my neck on Thursday. So I have not been able to sit anywhere for any long period of time. Congrats to all o you who lost weight the past few days. You are my inspiration!! Tomorrow is my weigh in time. I hope to get back to Curves tomorrow after work. I just may not be able to work on some of the equipment yet. But I am going to shake my fat the best I can. We did go out for fish on Friday night. I was pleased on how I did. I ate just to satisfy, not to over indulge to where I was totally uncomfortable. Which is how I use to eat out. To be honest, I find I'm not that hungry like before. I refuse to eat, just for the sake of eating. If I'm not hungry, I won't eat. Even sometimes by afternoon break time, I'm not all that hungry to eat my snack I brought. I do eat a little so I don't get that starving feeling by meal time.

Hope you all have a good Monday, don't know how much I will be able to sit at work all day, then at the computer at night. I will keep in touch the best I can...becky

  • Thanks for the email DeeDeeHawaii!

Wow you lost 20lbs in 10 weeks, that is a great!  This gives me hope

Hi everyone, I have many health resons to take the weight off and keep it off.  But my son is about to Graduate from college in 8 weeks, if I could be 16 pounds lighter, I would feel better and he would be thrilled for me.

I will look forward to reading your threads ~ Lyn

  • Gwynh/ Gwyn/ El Dorado, Arkansas/ goal to loose down to 130-135 by October 2009.

Thanks for the support here.  It is nice to have a cyber family that suppports me here.  I love you all.  Group hug!!!

I too raided the closet yesterday to see what all I would squeeze into.  Some were a definite NO!!.  Some however, I could wear again.  (not talking about my fatter sized clothes. Hehe)  In all I have about 4 new outfits I can fit into.

Have a wonderful week.  I go back to work again, bummer ,  but can do it.  I have decided to walk for 30 minutes during my lunch break as well as after school.  And I wont be lazy and keep hitting the snooze bar, but get up at 5:50 and do my weight lifting routine.

We are in this together.  WE CAN DO THIS!!!

    Gwyn
  • Thanks DeeDee and Cindi for the encouragement!  Cindi I didn't lose but I tried on a pair of jeans I hadn't been able to wear for a couple of years and they fit and there a size 12 so I feel pretty good about that.  The sun came out and I did some house cleaning this morning and took my dogs for their walk.  They are happy with me again.  Now I am thinking about what else I can do to stay busy for the rest of the day since I have finished reading all the post on the slimfast site.  I have a movie on but  not sure if I want to stay inside and watch it.  Take care and my goal from now is maintaining what I have lost so far and if I lose weight after I go back to work that is a plus but, I am going to keep on living and eating healthy.  Teri

  • April 1st sounds good to me. That will give me some time to really think about my game plan......I'm not going to let the numbers on the scale dictate how I feel about myself and neither should any of you.We are all doing GREAT and should CELEBRATE ourselves for chosing a heathier lifestyle !!!

  • That sounds like a plan Dee Dee!!!  For me, only change is the weight...Goal weight:  130-135 lbs.

And way to go on the clothes!!!!   I was a little sad when I didn't see any pounds off the scale...but really excited when I could put on something that I couldn't wear before!!!  Next step...raid my oldest daughters closet!!!!!Lot of laugh:11667

Life is what you make it...so LIVE WELL!!
  • Let's re-evaluate our goals on April 1, and if anyone wants to make an adjustment I'll update the list. That gives us a couple of days to figure out what we want to do .... or change. I too have been able to put back into my "wearable" clothes some pants that were too tight before. Yah-hoo!

  • Dee Dee...me, too...my goal weight is 130-135.  Don't know how long it's gonna take me...but I'm gonna get there!!!  Right Teri??  We are on it girl!!!  BTW...Teri, I wanted to share with you, too...that though the weight has been stubborn, I wanted to report that I tried on a pair of really cute pink capris that I bought a couple years ago in San Antonio (and couldn't wear)...and they fit!  I couldn't believe it!!!  I bought them because I thought how cute...I'll use it as inspiration.  That was TWO YEARS AGO!!!  And now...I can fit into them.  So, the scale may not be my friend...but yesterday, the clothes and mirror were very kind to me!!!!!Let´s dance:9759

Let's all keep it up ladies!!!!!

Hugs to all!!!  Cindi  Wave at you:9827

Life is what you make it...so LIVE WELL!!
  • Hi Teri, I didn't make my goal, either. I wanted 10 pounds this month (working towards 20 pounds in 2 months). I "only" lost  7 (which is good, but not 10). At this rate, I'll only make approx. 14 pounds in 2 months. I'm thinking I need to switch to 20 pounds in 3 months, but hate to "give in to reality" yet. Anyway, if you want any adjustments to your goal, just say so. Our aim is to be successful in the goal weight, yes? And if it takes longer, that is still OK!  Have a good Sunday, hope the weather clears for you.

  • Thanks DeeDee but I think I need to change my goal because I didnt' meet my goal for March but, my altimate goal is to get down to 130 pounds and I will be on for as long as it takes.  I know it is coming off slow so I should be able to maintain once I lose it.  I am having a hard time getting motivated this morning but, I think I will get back into it once the sun comes out again.  Here in Maine I am getting a cloudy sunday and chance of rain.  That sort of makes me just want to sit here and drink tea and stay dry.  LOL  Well, have a good sunday and the rest of the week!  Teri
