Starting it all over again

  • Well, I am starting over because I am back up to 170 where I was when I started in January of this year!  I lost 23 pounds but, when I went back to work in April I started putting the pounds back on.  I am laid off now so I am back into my exercise routine but, this year I am also adding weight training to my walking!  Right now its hunting season where I live so I don't take my dogs for their out door walk so I am using Leslie Sonone and doing weight training at the local high school gym in the morning.  Today I also did some walking on the treadmill and did about 5 minutes ont he elipitical.  I wasn't sure how to program it for me so it was set for someone who is in good shape that is why just the five minutes.  The treadmill I walked for about 20 minutes.  I am still working up to getting into shape so trying not to hurt myself so that I won't give up on the exercise.  My goal weight is still to get down to 130.  Teri

  • Hey,

I am just starting my 3rd week, and am still looking for buddies.  I think the first week is the toughest, that's when you really have to establish a routine.  Now starting the 3rd week I feel like I can't remember what it was like before I was working out everyday and eating healthy.  My friend is 6 weeks in and says she doesn't really crave the junk she used too.  That's where I'm hoping to get too!  I am also hoping to lose about 50 lbs.

  • I lost about 35 pounds a year ago and need for loose at least 15 more to be in my BMI range, but it's hard to get motivated.

I started (again) today...messed up a bit but not too bad...and tomorrow's another day.

It used to help me to write down small goals.."loose 3 pounds" and "exersize a total of 2 hours this week."  Some of them have to be about sticking to the meal plan for a certain amount of time and not about actually loosing weight...sometimes the scale just doesn't move.  Then I think of non-food rewards...like new socks or whatever.

  • I am starting over myself monday!I need to lose 50 pounds also!Lets do this together and support each other!

  • Its okay I am just looking for people who can help me stay motivated when those weak moments come.

  • hello how are you?  Today is my start date so I can not give any advice yet but I am more than willing to help motivate you!

  • Good Morning All,

This is my first time joining groups on SlimFast.  I am looking to loose 50 pounds the healthy way.  Hopefully we can motivate each other.  My start date was yesterday 10/25/09 and so far I feel ok.  I am looking for buddies who can help me as well as me help them.

    Thanks
